I really like this carrier. I have never used another one so I cannot compare it to anything. It is very soft and padded. My back does not hurt carrying him. It does take a bit of practice to learn how to tie everything up, but it's not too bad. I don't like how the ties drag on the ground as you are tying baby in. They would get all wet on a raining day. Other than that, it is a good deal, and it looks cute too! ;)

I have a high-needs daughter so I wanted to carry her around when possible. This really does take the strain off my back and shoulders compared to having her in my arms. My daughter loves it! She actually napped on my back while we were visiting family.

I wanted a carrier that was light weight and could be used for my newborn until he was big enough for our kelty backpack. It also had to be comfortable for long hikes. My son is now big enough for the backpack but I still continue to use this one. It is very easy to pack and neither baby or myself end up sweaty on hikes. The best feature by far is there is no back fatigue. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great product for very little money. My son who is a very tall one year old gets excited every time I get it out.

I have both a moby wrap and an Ergo carrier in addition to this Mei Tai carrier. This carrier is by far my favorite. The moby is really comfortable and versatile, but it's a mess to put on. The Ergo is great but at only 5'1" it's really difficult for me to reach behind my back to fasten/unfasten the top buckle. It's also a little too bulky and cuts into my babies chubby legs a bit (he's 15 pounds at 3 months).

This Mei Tai however is amazing. It's lightweight (should be perfect for summer) and feels comfortable for both me and my baby. I simply tie it on loosely and then put my baby in and tighten the straps. It's PERFECT!!

The ease of adjustment also makes it very comfortable to nurse your baby in. Just loosen the straps a bit, put your baby to the side, and cover them with the hood. I've had this wrap for about a month now and I've carried him in it for 2+ hours with no back pain whatsoever. My only complaint is that there are no storage pockets.

I highly recommend this product for its ease of use and comfort. Plus who can beat the price?!

I like that its very easy to use, I have a moby and love it but its a hassle to put it on, this carrier is super comfortable and sooo easy to use I use this one now every time I decide to baby wear

I use my Mei Tai wrap everyday! I love the shape and how it holds my son. It has been a lifesaver since my 20lb 3 month old loves being held all the time, my arms seriously needed a break! Loved the "hug hold" position the best, even now since his legs are too short to wrap around my torso. The straps are extra long to fit around my husband too, he enjoys wearing our son in it as well. We always get compliments on it and I highly recommend it to anyone who asks about it. Easily fits into our stroller or our diaper bag, would be a great shower gift!

This carrier is amazing i bought it on Tuesday and used it for the first time last night for Halloween! It was awesome my son is 6 weeks old and loved it never heard a peep out of it the whole time we were trick or treating! I love that it felt so secure and i didn't have to worry about holding him with my hands like i have with other carriers i was able to have both hands free! Very comfortable and didn't strain my back at all as I am short and a small build! I would definitely recommend this to any one.

I love this carrier! My son is so comfortable in it and it's comfortable for me too! I originally got a different carrier (same brand) and it was no where near as good.

I requested and got this carrier at my baby shower. I used a regular front infant carrier with my first born and I really wish I still had that one! My second child is a bit tall for his age, and he hates this carrier. Not only does all the fabric make us hot, he hates having his legs in the "frog" position necessary for newborns. His legs are not wide enough to dangle from the sides. My first carrier would have allowed for this. I don't mind all the tying and find it is a bit eaiser to put my child in vs. the traditional carriers that use special clips, which is why I am giving this carrier three stars. I am hoping I can use this carrier more once my son is older. I would have used this carrier for walks around the neighborhood, and around the house. I saw a woman using one of these to carry her newborn at a supermarket and was intrigued. Until my son is used to and more comfortable with the carrier, I would love to do that!
