My granddaughters love these dolls, and I find that they use their imaginations while playing with them. The only thing I wish was sold was extra hands. I know that they have the create a monster sets (which I have purchased), but the hands are the items that keep getting lost and up into my sweeper! I would gladly purchase a package of multi hands for these dolls if packages were sold!

Skull Shores Ghoulia is one of my favorite versions of Ghoulia to date! The hair style and makeup that was used on this version of Ghoulia is simple, yet gore-geous! Her bathing suit and waist wrap are so elegant, that it's easy to forget that this is a swimwear series! Ghoulia comes to you with the cutest tropical drink accessory, a brush, stand, and a collectible art card. Ghoulia is ready to play, or display right out of the box, and with her fully jointed body, she can be displayed in just about any pose you can think of! In fact, Ghoulia is so adorable, and versatile, that she is a favorite among customizers everywhere. Her skin tone lends itself to limitless customization possibilities, and hair/makeup combinations. As always, I recommend Ghoulia for older kids right on up to adults. Mattel has made it clear that the dolls are intended for ages 6+, however, I find that the rough and vigorous play associated with younger kids to be too much for the joint pins to handle. Monster High dolls are highly sought after, and highly collectible. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

OK--first off, I have to say this doll is stunningly BEAUTIFUL in person...my little girl has all the skull shores. I do think that MATTEL needs to redo their stock photo however, because it is quite innacurate compared to what this Ghoulia doll looks like in person.

The hair style in the stock photo is ugly...but when you see her in the store, in the box, her hair is a little longer and very classy, like the ladies in the old black and white movies. More the length of Lauren Bicall (shoulder lenth with soft curls on the end.

The stock photo used makes her look quite silly. The reason I bring this up is because I got all the skull shore dolls except for Ghoulia, when they were released, because I hated the stock photo. It does not do here justice. But then when I saw her in person at TRU, my jaw literally dropped. She is stunning in person. My little girl absolutely loves her.

And one more thing, please--everyone who is looking for these dolls, please be patient and check back with your local stores. PLEASE do not resort to the greedy scalpers on that certain shopping/bidding site. You CAN absolutely find these dolls on the shelves for retail with patience. I think if we all stick together and stop buying from that certain site, for those rediculously over-inflated prices, they will eventually stop buying all these dolls up so that mommies can buy these dolls for a reasonable price for their little ones.

Love the Monster HIgh dolls! They are all unique in their own way. Ghoulia is my favorite. Love their individual styles that each doll provides.

Skull Shores is my fourth Ghoulia doll, and she still fails to disappoint! Many people complained that she wasn't included in the Gloom Beach set, but I was more than happy to wait for this one. Because of this doll, I'm convinced there's some retro/rockabilly fans in the MH design department.

I'm still very impressed by the quality of the Monster High dolls, not just in the dolls, but the clothing as well. They're always in tune with current fashion without being overly trendy. Each doll seems to represent a different style, which has been fairly cohesive with each new line.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: "Where were the dolls when I was little?!?"

IMO the prettiest of the MH dolls. Though a, "Zombie", Ghoulia actually has more expression in her eyes than the other dolls. Her fashion style and colors are the most unique and eccentrically detailed. Somebody in the design department loves this character :)
