Carseat for baby #3. Primary carseat. Love the design on the fabric and inside the canopy. The buckles are strong but not a pain to undo. Easy to adjust straps. Love how many size options there are so I know that as baby grows the seat will fit snug and be safe, just as it should be. Love the option to strap in with seat belt when base isn't available. The seat isn't bulky or heavy. Great product, great price! Only thing that is a little bothersome is the canopy is very close to the handle making it a snug fit to carry seat on arm or when pushing handle back, it catches on the canopy itself. Not a big deal though. Quality product! Very happy!

We received this chair for our little one as a gift from our registry and thought it was the seat for us when we registered for it because of affordability and size. It is very durable, great for our smaller car and easy to lift.

Unfortunately, we have a little one who needs more support for her neck, and there is barely any to speak of in this seat. The half-moon shaped pad does very little to hold the infant's head in place, and we were often securing her head with rolled up towels.

She is a very tall baby and seemed so uncomfortable hunched and scrunched in the chair. The harness never seemed to hit her in the right place no matter how we adjusted it.

Adjusting the height of the shoulder straps was a pain in the neck. You have to unhook the straps on the back of the seat, lace them through and re-hook them. I also found the clasps on the harness to be very difficult to hook and unhook, especially the pieces that hooked into the crotch area of the harness.

We did adore the stroller that this car seat fit into. Unfortunately, this just wasn't the seat for us, and I think anyone looking for good head support and ease-of-use will find that to be true.

First off, the buckles on this car seat are EXTREAMLY HARD to buckle and unbuckle! I've broken several nails trying to unbuckle my daughter from this carseat.

Second off, the pictures in the photo do not show the HUGE TACKY "warning" sticker that is on the inside headrest fabric area. It is non removeable and just tacky looking. Put it in the seat, on the outside, or somewhere other than by the baby's face.

Thirdly, the pattern is ONLY on the removable "headrest padding" I wasn't able to view this particular carseat in store and was very disappointed when the pattern was in fact NOT what I was expecting. I was really hoping for MORE of the lime green to show within the pattern.

As far as being bulky, I haven't had any problem, I do think the handle itself isn't very long. (i.e. to hang the little carseat mobiles on the handle) If you do, the toys hit the baby in the face.

We were able to use this seat for my son until he was a year old. He's a tiny guy so he did not reach the 30" height limit until he was 12 months. I purchased this in conjunction with the snap and go stroller frame and loved this system. Very easy to use. It was hard for me to part with it and transition to the convertible car seat. The seat seemed easy for my husband to install, and the straps were easy to use and adjust and also easy to clean. Sometimes the straps got stuck while tightening, but I learned quickly how to dislodge the metal part that was stuck on the back of the seat. We used it with the carseat base, but it can also be installed right onto the seat using a seatbelt, which we had to do on a few occasions when babysitters were traveling with him. I like Graco and would recommend their seats to everyone.

I had to buy two of these car seats to get my preemie twins home from the hospital. My old Graco car seats (which I loved) was too big for my 4lb babies! This car seat has 4 shoulder settings and 2 middle snap settings. So it should really grow with them.

My only complaint so far is that the black fabric of the car seat stains light clothing. If the girls are sweaty or have a wet diaper, the car seat leaves a black stain on their cloths which doesn't come out.

Overall great seat. I've read reviews that say it's too heavy - ALL infant car seats are heavy, it's something you have to get used to. The buckle is also a little difficult to un-do, however I like that because it means it wouldn't pop open accidentally or in case of an accident. The colors of the Odyssey are great for girls or boys. The seat was sturdy and relatively easy to install.

The only down side to infant car seats in general is that even though it's meant for babies up to 30 lbs or one year, that's only if your baby is a skinny 30 lbs. My baby outgrew the seat around 7 months (around 20 lbs) and we had to get all new convertible seats. But, when baby was smaller it was great to have the infant seat that comes out of the base and we could carry it into stores, restaurants, etc.

This car seat is extremely heavy, and this is the opinion of someone who works out often and has even lifted weights as part of my regiment. I can't even imagine how it would be for someone who is out of shape. It also requires the use of excessive force to buckle/unbuckle. Also, it is not as cute as it looks in the picture, cause it has a big ugly decal on the side of it that does not come off.

My review seems to be the only bad one. Maybe I got a defective seat. The problems:

First of all, the bottom buckle is VERY hard to buckle and unbuckle. We hoped that using it would have "broken it in" and that it would be easier after a month or so, but it's just as bad. Not good when you have a crying baby.

Second, the canopy gets stuck on the handle bar and vice versa. It may just be the material of the canopy, but it's really ridiculous. We have to struggle in order to separate the two.

Last worth mentioning, there is no velcro to keep the straps open while putting the baby in / taking the baby out. The Snugride we used for our daughter 6 years ago had this feature, which made getting baby in & out much easier. I don't know why they did away with this feature.
