I love this stroller!! I wish it wasnt sooooo expensive though, but since my kids are small i figured i would get good use out of it. One of the bummers is that it has no cup holders and the foam handle areas break apart. Other than that its perfect bc its not bulky and can fit perfectly in my little compact car. Also its not heavy like the other huge double strollers.

We were really excited to order this stroller, it seemed like everything that we wanted. My husband wasn't pleased once we put it together and we didn't think that it was worth the expense to not be what we wanted and have to take the second seat off each time we folded it down. We returned it a few days after putting it together.

Love this stroller b/c its an in line double. Can fit through any doorways and down most aisles. Met my expecatations. It can be difficult to fold, but I am getting the hang of it after 2 weeks. I might have to sew some covers for the pushing handle, as it rubs on the ground when folding and unfolding. My toddler bit the belly bar and broke some of the foam, might have to sew a cover for that as well. Slightly heavy, but worth it. Smaller than any other double i've tried (sit n stand, side by side jogger) and the kids really can't touch each other!!!

I was doing baby boot camp for months and months and my instructor had a Phil & Ted Explorer. I kind of wish I had sprung the extra for the explorer. This is a great jogging stroller- and it has enabled me to get rid of all other strollers since it has a swivel wheel and folds up nicely to fit in the trunk of my sedan. It's perfect for going to the mall, but great for when I'm out exercising too. My only complaints: The brake is RIDICULOUSLY hard to pop into place. I gave up on putting it on with my foot the first two days that I had it and now when I want to put the brake on, I just bend down and pull it up with my hands. Slightly annoying. Also, the wheels are made somewhat cheap and it's VERY easy to overinflate (even when inflating only to manufacturers standards) because there is no lip on the plastic rim to keep the actual tube/tire into place. I always keep my tires a bit under inflated. Makes for a little rougher ride for the little ones and a bit harder workout for me!

Bottom line: it's almost worth it to spring for the more expensive phil and ted models but if cost is a factor (and usually it is!) then this will get the job done. An in-line is SO much more convenient than a side by side and my kids LOVE riding in this stroller.

for those in city living you'll soon learn there is no such thing as a good double stroller - even if you're willing to spend over $1K.

They are all bulky, heavy, huge, poorly engineered & hard to open/fold. even upscale baby stores will apologetically admit this.

That being said after buying 2 other dbl strollers I decided that the P & T design was the best option (had a mclaren dbl, didn't lay flat enough for my newborn & little wheels work on a single, but w/the weight of the dbl it was jarring my kids every crack in the sidewalk & a sit n stand my toddler would try to jump off of or sit on my newborn!).
I liked the dbl city mini & combo twin but both require 2 hands to fold w/current model, & city doesn't stay closed - I'm a 1st FL. Walk-up, that just wasn't practical.
So this stroller - pros:
1 hand fold, folds w/2nd set on front when newborn lays flat below
Many different easy to use configurations
Easy to add car set adapter. Both my 2mo old & toddler were comfy in either seat.

Cons
Brake Very hard to use. Was messing up my shoe & would be almost on, then bounce back - this was one of the main deal breakers for me. I returned it & got an explorer b/c of this & the handle heights. I'm 5'5 & my hubby is 5'10. We both found one too low (were hitting knees on 2nd seat ) & the other too high & harder to steer with.
2nd set doesn't come w/awning
Poorly packaged. UPS delivered mine in an open box w/the parts lying on my stoop. Had they rang the bell I would ave refused it, it was scratched up.

BBRU does hot carry the explorer right now, but I highly recommend that instead.

Also be aware accessories are not included on even the more expensive p&t's, so it's another $40 for the car set adapter, $55 for the rain cover, which u need so your lower child doesn't get splashed with water in the rain.
