I run an after school program for 1st-5th grade. Legos have always been a popular toy but mostly for the boys. This new set has the girls just as excited about Legos as the boys are.

We love Legos so I might be biased. My son has a zillion. My 4 year old daughter wanted some, so I got her this set, and she loves it. It comes with instuctions for the images on the box, but shows other scenes in the booklet that you can pretty easily figure out how to assemble as well as doing your own thing. And that's what we love about Legos the most. One of the pieces was cracked, but I'm sure if I called Lego, they'd do something about it. I plan on getting the Lego Friends collection now that it is out, so I'm not worried about one rare defect. We'll have plenty of bricks.
