My husband just put the changing table together and it is incredibly sturdy and so cute. My husband said it is one of the most sturdy pieces of furniture he has put together. The box was very heavy upon arrival which is probably why. It is more of a white color than it appears in the picture so I was happy to find that it matched all the other baby furniture really well. It comes with a thin but substantial changing pad of its own that fits perfectly which I was also pleasantly surprised about. The drawers pull out very smoothly. The 2 open shelves at the top measure 16D x 14.5W x 9.5D if you want to get baskets to fit it. The only con is that the hardware to put it together is a little off but you can make it work.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
