The picture of this changing table is beautiful but is difficult to put together . After it was put together screws were exposed. The screw head is almost the size of a dime and has a light plastic color so it shows when you look at it which cheapens the look. Most important there no straps to strap the changing table pad to the table and there are no strap on the pad to strap the baby.
I called Stork Craft Mfg and they were not concerned nor cared about these problems. They told me they are made in different countries and basically can't control somethings. Consequently I went out and bought a new Serta changing table pad that had straps and screws so the pad could be secured to the table as well as straps for the baby.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My brother's baby is due in February and we just put together this product. It is nice and sturdy and although it took a little while to put together it is way worth it. If my brother can put it together, anyone can. Most importantly it feels like a safe place to put the baby. I also love the color (espresso). The top is at a great height also so that you don't have to bend down to change the baby.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
