My son ultimately liked the value of the set. He plays pretend construction site, building things up and knocking them down. He really likes the fact that the arm turns, raises, and lowers. He didn't like that the tracks have to be adjusted pretty often, but said it was a minor thing. Overall, he was very pleased.

My son loves to read the directions and build Lego products step by step, all by himself and sometimes he does better than. I could! This one was a BIG challenge for him and did require a little of my help but he enjoyed the challenge. I recommend it for any Lego lover. My son is 6 1/2 and has been into Legos for at least 3 years now.
