I knew I wanted this seat from day one, Britax is all I buy! I was very bummed that it didn't fit in my 2007 Jeep Compass.

For one I couldn't get a tight fit with the base, tried installing it with latch and seatbelt. Both ways had excessive movement.

The anti rebound bar didn't make correct contact with my seat.
No matter what I did, the bubble indicator always said it was unlevelled.
Lastly, most of the base hung off my seat, which personally I didn't like.

Aside from the installation issues I had, the seat itself is very heavy with no baby! It was a pain to release the seat from the base.

Chicco fits perfect in my Jeep, and was a breeze to install! Not to mention the seat is so much lighter.

I bought this for my third child, before he was born. My main reasons for buying this product was because it is a Britax and it has good safety features, such as the rebound bar and side impact protection.

When it came I found a piece of foam in the box with a tag that said to insert if using for a baby with low birth weight (up to 11 pounds). Figuring I'd have a "low weight newborn" (under 11 pounds) I struggled to insert this foam.

My boy was a whopping 9 pounds 3 oz and didn't fit in the seat with the foam. Once I removed the foam it was still a tight fit width wise and where his head was. I could not see him fitting in this at thirty pounds (the seat's max weight).

Also the material on the head rest and matching elsewhere was terrible feeling. The chest restraints were impossible to adjust and it was difficult to tighten the straps.

The one good thing I will say: I was going to return this product, but we got into a car accident first. My TWO WEEK OLD boy came out of it fine, in fact he slept through it.

I've had to buy a new seat as once in an accident you need a new car seat, and this time bought a Britax B-Safe. I love the B-Safe. I feel it has all the same safety, doesn't need a rebound bar as the base goes high enough to prevent much rebound. not to mention fits right and has nicer material.

Pros: We love this car seat. The base and seat are very sturdy. Our son is comfortable and the seat is easy to adjust as he has grown. The sunshade comes down really far (farther than most other brands) and it is great.

Cons: It is heavy and the base takes up a lot of space! We had it in our Honda Civic but it had to be in the middle.

Really our only complaint is that when you take the baby out with the handle back, the car seat tips over backwards. It's annoying but the safety and overall performance makes up for that.

Great car seat, super safe.
I really liked the size of it,my daughter was 21" when she was born and still growing really tall, so it lasted me for over a year. The head support easily adjusts for shorter or taller babies. The weight of this car seat is probably a bit heavier that Peg Perego, but the quality is worth it all. Im very picky when it comes to quality of baby items and material on the car seat, britax is a good one and price is fair too.
I would definitely suggest this car seat to others. As about adopters to other stroller than Britax I dont know much.

I bought this car seat for my second DD who is now 5 months old. We originally had a Graco carseat for our first. Our first DD hated her car seat and cried almost immediately when we put her in it. Our second DD loves her car seat and falls sleeps in it alot. She seems so secure in it. The only downfall is that it is heavy. I am not sure how much longer I can carry it. The safety and comfort outweigh the weight issue. I love the side impact protection that it offers and the fact that I can install it without a base.
