Step #2 clearly says, "Trim Gummi Crib Rail lengthwise ONLY, if necessary." Since ours was a little too wide for our crib, I trimmed it along the length following what looked like perforations I assumed for trimming. However, our crib rail only had adhesive along the edges. So if you trim lengthwise, you will cut away one side of adhesive rendering the product useless. So either the instructions are wrong or my product was defective. Either way, my verdict is that this product is junk.

I bought this item even after reading the poor reviews thinking this would be the best option. I like the idea of it b/c it seemed like it would be more soothing than the other options. Once I got it home and put it in use, my daughter had it peeling off w/in days. Once that happens you can't reapply. Maybe using this w/ another cover on top could be a better option than this alone.

I followed the directions to a "t" and I still can't get it to stick! I faught with this for almost an hour before giving up. Total waste of money.

I followed the directions exactly and this sitll peeled up and took a bit of the finish off my crib rail. Replaced with the Leachco XL crib side rail covers. Don't waste your money this product is terrible!

The product did keep my son from chewing on his crib. When it was time to remove rail cover the stain came off too. Was not happy the store clerk told me it would not happen when I made my purchase.
