Sturdy -but aesthetically misleading!

Comments about Magical Harmony Kids Fuzzy Bear Chair:

I recently purchased this chair for my daughter's first birthday and was hesitant since I could not find any reviews.... I finally decided that since other chairs made by the same company seemed to fair well in the reviews that I would give it a chance. Oh well, the chair is OK, but if I had seen it in person before buying I would have never brought it into my home.

Pros:

It is sturdy and seems to withstand the maneuverings of a one-year-old.

Cons:

The supposed cream portion of the cover is a lot darker than pictured and looks more like a dirty brown...and take the dirty concept literally...it looks as though I need to wash it even though it is brand new!

The 'fur' is very thin and instead of simply covering the bear -it is positioned like planted corn rows with predictable spacing.

Other than the fact that this chair looks as though I have already owned it for a couple of years instead of a couple of weeks -I suspect the fur will quickly fall out since it seems a little too easy to remove...and I already have loose strings.

---Added note: I have now owned this chair for a few months and have had multiple people ask if it was a chair I had kept from my own childhood! If money weren't so tight, I would eagerly replace this chair!!
