Basic playyard & bassinet function appears to be fine. What is not fine is the Changer-Napper, which for safety's sake you must remove if you put the infant to sleep in the bassinet. Following the instructions to remove the Napper-Changer involve unclipping both side rails of the bassinet to reach the clips which hold it in place. Try this once or twice and you will find that you want to throw the Napper-Changer in the garbage, or return the product for one that costs less because it doesn't even have the Napper-Changer. For those who would like a play yard with a changer, look for one that folds away fast and easy; the Graco Forecaster's changer table is poorly designed when it comes to convenience. The Graco play yard sheets (sold seperately) Do Not fit snugly...which is a problem for infant bedding by all accounts.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

this playard was easy to put together. i did it myself (8 months prego). took about 10 minutes. love that the manual booklet fits in a slot under the mattress pad so you dont have to look for it in the future.
its sturdy. i love that it is very gender neutral.
i like that the toys (3 orange stars) hang by velcro, this way, i can just remove them when baby can reach and do not have to remove the entire arch.
looking forward to using this as a bassinet, changer and playard.
also, you can't beat the price compared to other playards with all those unecessary accessories.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
