The bike is very cute & was easy to put together. The only problem was that it was a Christmas gift for my daughter (7 yrs) & when it was delivered at 7pm, the UPS driver rang the doorbell and left it on the porch. My 8 yr.old son opened the door & said there's a Monster High bike on the porch. I understand that it's the holidays and the drivers are under a lot of pressure, but if you are delivering toys for a toy company during the holidays, there should be some sort of discretion policy.

Got this for my daughter( a huge monster doll fan) for Christmas. It is cute and did not have skratches like some of the other reviews I have read. My husband put it together fairly quickly maybe an hour and half or so. It is the perfect size for her (5 year old). She does not know how to ride a bike so I am hoping this will be a good starter for her. The improvements start with there is no kick stand! So when she is ready to take the training wheels off how is it suppose to stand? I'm not really sure where to get a kick stand or how to go about attaching it, so its just a hassle I didnt expect. Also, the bike stinks! Literally STINKS. Set it up inside, and put it under the tree and as soon as presents were opened it had to be taken outside!I know this seems like a minor deal but the oder it gives off is pretty extreme. And lastly its not really a "grow in to"bike so if youre looking for over 2 years worth of growth and use this might not be the bike for you. I was only looking for a starter couple of years of use.But like I mentioned before it is perfect size for her right now. The 20 inch bikes are way to big and the 16 inch are a little to small.

My daughter loves the bike. It would have gotten a 5 star rating had someone done their job right and put the bike together correctly. I would recommend it to a friend but I would also recommend that they put it together themselves because the staff at Toys R Us are unskilled and unreliable to correctly assemble it!

We purchased this bike in the 20 inch size as a Xmas gift for our die-hard MH fan. Once we had it home and out of the box, we found MANY defects in the paint and overall appearance of the bike... much of what looked like had been caused my shipping & packaging materials. We returned it to the store and exchanged it for another one, assuming it was a fluke. IT WASN'T! The 2nd bike had the same issues, only it was in worse shape. AGAIN that bike is being returned! We made one final attempt at buying the same bike from a different T R Us, this time buying the floor model, as the only other one they had in a box was ALSO ruined. Floor model was not perfect, but the minor issues are fixable with a little paint- THOUGH WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FIX A BRAND NEW BIKE, we intend to keep it because she will love it. I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER VIA EMAIL WITH NO RESPONSE AS OF YET, though they do claim to respond within 72 hrs and it has been only 48. It IS a cute bike and will make a MH fan happy, but if you are looking for perfection, THIS IS NOT IT!
