I actually wanted to review it to comment on the instruction manual. I don't know if the manufacturer will ever see this, but just in case...a consumer putting a Barbie bike together doesn't need a technical book detailing how every type of bike ever made is put together down to the last nut and bolt. I finally gave up messing with the book and just winged it and did fine.

Just a piece of paper saying 1) put front wheel on like this, make sure it is centered and a picture, 2) put on training wheels like this, etc...would be great. That book that came with it is ridiculous.

I put the bike together myself and for a person who has never put a bike together I thought that the instructions were horriable because they were for putting together a 18" and up bikes, not specifically the 16" Barbie bike. Therefore it probably took me longer than normal and even though I have tightend the handle bars they seem to subtly slide down. I also think that they need to put kickstands on 16" bikes because not everyone riding 16" bikes need training wheels. Therefore you need to lean the bike against something unless you want it to get scratched from being laid on the ground. Overall it is not a bad bike. I probably would have gave it a 4 1/2 stars if they were to fix the problem with the instructions and the kickstand issue.

    I purchased the Dynacraft 16 inch bling it bike for my niece. She loved the Barbie theme and the fact that she was able to customize it with the stick-on jewels (i.e., the "Bling"). The product was easy to assemble and the materials seemed to be good quality. My niece was very happy with it and will be until she physically outgrows it.

        As other reviewers have said, the instructions are worthless since they don't really go with this bike. The lack of instructions shouldn't matter since there are only about four parts to assemble, and I wouldn't have even looked at them except I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the front wheel into the fork. Eventually I figuered out that I wasn't doing anything wrong, the fork was about 1/2 inch too small. After reading other reviews here I found that it's a common problem. We'll be returning this bike tomorrow and getting a different one, unfortunately when my 5 year old wakes up on her birthday she won't have a new bike, just a box of junk.

        Let me first off by saying that the customer service counter personal at Horsham,PA toy r us were great. They helped me out tons. Now for the product.First bike a got home had bent front forks,back it went. second bike home..AGAIN bent forks..back it went. Third try. I checked this one at the store.Forks were great..BUT after getting it together I noticed the back wheel was bent...so again back I went...not a fun day 3 hours to put a bike together.

            So I take the bike out of the box to put it together & can not figure out why the handle bar doesn't have a bar to place in the hole....duh they put it on UPSIDE DOWN! So I have to fix that & not only that the plastic is croke so now I have to return it & get another before Christmas....like I have time for this. Thanks alot TRU! :( FYI the handle bar was also put on upside down on my sons hot wheels bike....who do you people have assembling these bikes? I hope it doesn't fall apart while my children ride them!

                My daughter got this bike for her birthday. The instructions were confusing. The part that came with the bike were not right, and we had to bring it back to the store. After we got the right parts, one of the training wheel broke off. It didnt even last for a month. Now we have to go back and get new traing wheels. Dont waste you money on this bike.

                Good bike daughter loves it but easily things fall apart. The decor almost all came off. The strings all came off and we've owned this bike for about a month. That little backpack in front never stays on because it keeps hitting the wheels. Also can't get one of the small wheels to touch the floor

                    Awful! I was missing partts from the product. So even after we bought more parts from the hardware store the assembly took forever. My daughter hated it because there was no bling it jewels included & they should have been. If I could send it back I would.

                      My 5 yr old loves this bike, we did not have any trouble putting it together or missing parts like other reviews, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the little sparkle stuff on the handles came off the first 5 min of use also stickers come apart too.

                        This bike is a great buy. Great looks and quality for the price. Made a 3 1/2 year old girl very happy.

                        The people who left negative comments regarding assembly and the instructions are morons. I assemble this bike without the use of the instructions in less than 30 minutes...no problem.
