Comments about C-Preme Raskullz Child Helmet - Kitty Tiara:

Why this helmet works - because my daughter LIKES it. She eagerly wears it, because random girls and moms/ladies coming the other way will just call out "oooh how cute, I wish I was a princess kitten too".

The design of the helmet is a less than stellar "bucket-style hockey/skateboard" model, not one of the high-tech Giro or Avenir vented "I think I'm Lance Armstrong" models that her father wears on his solo bike rides. But for the speeds and conditions that my daughter rides, it fits the bill.

Note the silver tiara is white foam, with a silver reflective sticker on one side, and easily deforms to finger pressure. The "ears" are rubber, I don't believe they will impact the intended mission of the helmet to provide slowed deacceration and a protective shell should your precious child's noggin go ker-plunk on the concrete. You have to condition your child over time to wear the straps tight enough for the helmet to work on impact. I would buy the same helmet again if this one was lost or broken.
