I didn't purchase this color, I got the sable color which is black and dark fuschia. It is gorgeous. Anyway, this swing is perfect, it sits upright for when your baby isn't into laying down, and it also reclines for when they fall asleep. With my first child, I bought a very expensive swing, and this one is way better. As for the review that says the music is awful, I completely disagree, there are several classical songs and the sound quality is decent. I suppose if you are unintelligent and can't appreciate classical music than you may find it "awful". I happen to find it very peaceful. Yes, the mobile doesn't really spin, but it moves with the swing. And honestly, I don't buy a swing because of a fantastic mobile. Whether or not it spins, your baby will be bored of it within minutes. I recommend this swing, but find it somewhere with a better price and a better color.

Bought this product for my baby...the motor went out with in 6 months,and they replaced it for free.Things that arent so great is the music is awful..the swing sits crooked...its hard to put together..the mobile does nothing. The weight limit is 30lbs..my daughter weighs 22lbs and it already runs much slower. The colors of the swing are nice..thats about all I can say for it.

I recieved this swing as a gift on my registry. I chose it because with my first Son we had a much fancier/expensive swing and the motor went out within 3 months of having it so I wanted something simple and less-expensive so it would actually stay working/last and the colors matched the Dr. Seuss theme I am doing perfectly.

Well I recieved the swing and my Husband and I put it together... which took about 20-30 minutes start to finish and upon putting it together we noticed that the swing isn't red with grey swirls it's ORANGE which was upsetting because I only wanted it because it was red to match my theme. We also noticed the swing has a very crooked/plain design... By crooked design I mean it literally hangs crooked because of how the swing was designed, it swings straight but hangs crooked and the swing has a mobile but it is mainly there for looks... it doesn't move on it's own and it doesn't make noise or anything... it just hangs there which is pointless to me. If it isn't bad enough that the color was wrong, the swings design is so cheap it actually hangs crooked and the mobile doesn't do ANYTHING but hang there for looks.... the music on the swing is horrible! The sounds sound so fuzzy and disoriented I'm worried that some of the sounds might actaully upset my Son rather than soothe Him!

All-in-all the swing is very plain and boring. Had I known this swing had all these flaws I would have chosen a swing that was 20-30 dollars more because I don't think that i'll get to use this very often. I will be having my Son in december so we will have to see but just by what i've seen from this swing... I wouldn't reccomened this swing to anyone who want to use a swing alot.

This swing is relatively easy to put together and looks nice, but the swing is positioned crooked, pointing to the right. It's not terrible, but bothers me enough to take it back. I took it apart twice and put it back together, following directions to a T every time. Could be a defect in this one, but I wouldn't chance buying it again. Although easy to put together, it took a long time, not willing to do it again!

I purchased this swing because I watch my grandson one day a week and wanted something more affordable since he won't use it full-time. This swing is great... it's quiet, it has multiple speed settings and music options, multiple reclining angles, it was easy for me to assemble by my self, and I haven't had to replace the batteries yet - with quite a bit of use. I like that the pattern is subtle and neutral, and appropriate for boy or girl.

I have a slight problem with the power button... it's "touchy"... you have to push it multiple times and get it just right to get it to turn off. I've thought it was OFF several times, only to walk back in the room and find it swinging away. I don't see this as a reason to return it though.

In hindsight, I wish I had found a swing with a tray.

We had heard that having a swing was an absolute necessity for babies, so we bought this swing just before the birth of our son. The assembly was a little difficult. I've found that overall, Graco has horrible instructions that are difficult to follow, and Chicco has easy and clear instructions. So my only complaint with this product is the assembly instructions.

Once we finally had the swing put together, we could see that it looks great. The neutral colors look nice in our living room. I'm glad we chose this model instead of one of the swings in a loud, baby print.

G did NOT like the swing the first week, but we suspect that was due to his circumcision and belly button still healing. By week 2, he LOVED the swing. He is now 6 weeks old. If we put him to sleep in his crib, he will only sleep for 2-3 hours at a stretch. In the swing, he will sleep 6 hours straight at night. The swing has been a lifesaver! Without it, I would be a zombie.

We've only replaced the batteries once so far. It takes 3 D batteries. If we have to replace batteries once a month to get some good sleep, we are happy to make that trade!
