This stroller is great! I originally bought a high-end running stroller that although I loved, realized that it might not be the best way to spend money right now considering I probably won't use the running stroller all that much. I say that for two reasons... first, because my son is already over 3 yrs old and my daughter is 6 weeks so I don't imagine I'd have to use a double stroller for too long with the 3-year age gap. But... my son is a very busy boy so there definitely are times that I still need to keep him contained in a seat. second, I thought about how it was difficult sometimes to run with just a single running stroller that I thought when am I realistically going to run with the double (answer, I'm not). So.. for those two reasons I thought I would save myself spending the $500+ dollars and go with this for more than half off the higher price. I'm SOOOO glad I did. Not only was it more affordable, but it's more in line with what I need for this next year. It gives my independent 3-year boy the flexibility to sit or stand when I force him to ride in the stroller. I didn't give it 5 stars because:
- the parent cup holder is a little shallow so if you hit a bump your water bottle can fall out. A little tweak that hopefully Graco will "fix" on future models.
- Wish there was some type of snack cup/tray that could attach to the stroller for when your child is seated in the rear part.
- My biggest complaint is that although the storage compartment is a decent size, it's not accessible when you have a child seated in the back and an infant in a car seat resting on the front end. You have to have your older child stand up and you have to take the car seat off in order to access your belongings in the compartment. Total pain! Too bad they didn't make it so the sides of the compartment zippered or something so you can have access to your stuff via the sides rather than from above.
Overall all though I've been so pleased with our purchase. It maneuvers so much better than I expected. It actually rides pretty well and it doesn't feel heavy when I'm pushing it.
I wish the stores carried this Metropolis color so you don't have to buy it online and could therefore use your "in-store only" coupons. Hopefully Babies R Us will start to stock it in the store so you can apply the store coupons.
Final note: you do need a rather large "trunk" to store. Then again, which double stroller doesn't. Something you need to consider if you don't have a lot of cargo space.

I spent far too many hours researching a stroller that would work for our family needs and budget. By the time my 3rd comes, we'll have 3 under 3 (my oldest will be 6 months away from his birthday), we rely almost completely on the bus and the stroller (a rented car once in a while) and my husband is a student and working only part time (so no $700 stroller for us). This one seemed compact, light, and had a few different seating options. Against another comparably priced stroller this naturally looked like a good fit, but I wish we could take it back.

Pros:
Several different seating options (we've used only two so far since we don't need the car seat)
Stands on its own when folded
Folds and opens one handed
Relatively light
Fairly maneuverable on straight, flat roads
Small (length and width) for a double stroller
2 canopies, one for each seating area (my husband found this especially good)

Cons:
Front seat is very shallow (my 2 1/4 year old looks very uncomfortable and he's only average height for his age)
The brake is VERY hard to lock into place (sometimes it's 3 times, plus rolling it back and forth, to get it to lock)
Cheap, plastic wheels with no grip (stroller slides easily on the bus, even when the brake is locked)
Back/Upper seat only has one position (cannot be more or less reclined)
Hard to maneuver with weight in it or when steering on any kind of incline

For the price ($100 more expensive in Canada), this stroller feels cheap and I expected much more bang for my buck. I give it two stars only because my oldest likes sitting on the bench seat right now, otherwise I would only give it one.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Metropolis:

I bought this for my 18m/o and my new born and it seems like it's going to be perfect for us ! The only thing I didn't like was that I had to buy a car seat that would adapt to it because the one I had did not work with this stroller. But besides that it's very easy to handle and much easier to fold then a single stroller.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Metropolis:

I bought this because it seemed awesome, it seemed practical and sturdy. I was wrong. Its obnoxiously LARGE, it's tall, wide, and heavy. It does not fit well in most cars and not at all in others. The seats themselves are okay but the front seat is definitely smaller then the rear seat. The different seating is nice and folding is easy but that's about all it has going for it. I had one before this and it broke so I returned it for a different one since i bought the plan. The first one was all around junk but this one wasn't too much better.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Metropolis:

We purchased this because our previous Graco has been a solid product for 1 child. My son is now 2 and baby brother is 4 weeks so figured this would probably work best with big brother being able to sit/stand in the back on some trips.

The stroller is easy to open/close and maneuver. I can't speak for how comfortable the seats are, but my older son has not complained when sitting in either the front or the back. Attaching a car carrier is pretty easy in either front or back positions.

Thus far it has worked pretty well, but with a few nuances. I've found that when not using the stand/sit functionality in the rear, it is best to just take the bench seat out. This allows easier access to the basket even with a child carrier in the rear seating position. When using the rear seat, it is sometimes a pain to get it in and out due to the snaps and clips. It would be nice if it just "snapped" in some way like the bench seat or trays.

The biggest con for me was not having the swivel front tray like our previous Graco has. The front tray on this has two clips that hold the tray in place. You can unlatch one and swivel it, but it is NOT as simple as our old Graco. It takes considerably more time to close it up once the child is seated. Also, if the clips aren't completely locked properly the whole tray will just fall off. It's to the point that I've debated just leaving the tray off completely when my older son is seated in front.

For my wife, the only con was no enclosed storage in the parent tray like our previous stroller for things like pacifiers, snacks, etc.

Overall, it is doing the job we expected of it. It just takes a little more planning on how we want it configured when we are going somewhere.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Metropolis:

My oldest was turning 3 when new baby was born...I thought this was a great option b/c I was getting a double stroller that turned into a sit-n-stand. Also, had a graco car seat with first child so I didn't want to learn to use a new car seat brand.
Truthfully we didn't use it as a double with both seats very long. Baby was in carseat for 8 months, then starting using it w/o second seat. The second seat does not recline so it could not be used until baby was sitting up well on his own.
The size is good, not too big. I see people with the giant side-by-sides always struggling to get through places, so this was better in my mind, plus it fits between parked cars so you don't have to leave the stroller sitting behind the car when taking out/putting in one or the other children. Very important!
          Pros:
          I think it steers easily.
          Easy use with graco carseats.
          Not too heavy or bulky.
          Child placement options.
          Durable and cleans easily.
Love that it has two (removable) sunshades.
Sit-n-stand seat has its own seatbelt, other 2 seats have 5-point harnesses.
          Cons:
Basket was unaccessible while using carseat, but is great when using as a sit-n-stand.
Second seat doesn't recline. Front seat doesn't fully recline.
There aren't really 12 riding options, maybe six tops.
Only one parent cupholder, had to purchase a second and no cupholders for child in rear of stroller.
Don't care for the two plastic things that stick out by the wheels, they are for standing up the stroller when it's folder. Ugly and sometimes seem awkward.
When my older son got to be about 38 or 39 inches he started looking too big for the front seat. Younger son is on the tall side, so we've been using this stroller for about a year now, and I'm thinking we'll get one more year before he outgrows the front seat too - so I'm trying to decide if I want to get something else now, or keep on using it for a year and then seeing what we need....
Overall it is a quality item and I do think it is easy to use. Also, I have a honda accord and it fits in the trunk by taking off the front snack tray which is really easy to do.

Great value and quality!! I am a mother of 3 and this stroller has been very useful! I love that the car seat could go in front or back. I also like that the back seat faces me and can be removed to accommodate an older child.
One thing I would change/improve would be the parent cup holder/area near the handle. Our single Graco stroller has better storage and holder options and this one is really basic and flimsy. Otherwise it has been perfect for us so far!

I have used this stroller for all kinds of outing including smooth roads, rought roads, through snow, through dirt and it seems no matter the terrain it moves great even with my toddler on the front. It is big so if you have a small vehicle its probably not the stroller for you, I have to take the front tray and the sun shades off for it to fit min my fusion.

I love everything about this stroller for the cost except the size. It is quite large but since I have an SUV it doesn't cause any issues. May be difficult with a smaller car. It's easy to open and close. The girls love to ride in it. I wish the front seat fit more than Graco car seats but that's not a deal breaker since I didn't use it when my youngest was teeny tiny.

I was not sure about this product at first not because of the brand, but because I've always thought of strollers that are for more than one child as clunky and a hassle to move. I was pleasantly surprised it works great and its easy to maneuver it is comfortable for both kids and has some extra amenities for parents which is a great touch. I would definitely recommend.
