The dresser is gorgeous, sturdy, and beautifully constructed. The drawers open and close smoothly and I love the fact that right before they close the mechanism makes them stop and lightly close. You definitely get what you pay for... we are thrilled!

I love this collection!! My husband & I are so happy with it! We get a ton of compliments. Its made very sturdy so Im sure it will last a long time. Nice product for the price-worth every penny. The only downfall is that i wish the drawers were a little bigger.

I was nervous to order this dresser after seeing the other reviews, but I'm glad that I did. We picked up the dresser last week and it is beautiful. It was packaged very well and there were no quality issues at all. It looks great with the matching crib. My husbands only complaint was that it is VERY heavy. The dresser comes completely assembled, which is nice but does make it hard to move.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

If you plan on ordering any Baby Cache furniture at Babies R Us and don't want to pay an arm and a leg for shipping it to your home, beware that with all the movement from shipping from warehouse to store to your home could damage the furniture even though it's wrapped securely in boxes.The dresser is lovely with plenty of storage space. It is heavy, weighing in at 230 pounds. The item was packaged very well with protective covers and the box was not damaged on the outside. However, when we opened the box after hauling it home, the wood was cracked in various areas on the dresser, particularly the front corners and where the top meets the actual dresser.If you are looking for white furniture, I recommend going with another brand such as Babi Italia as they have better reviews on their white finish furniture. There is a lot of cracking at the seams, etc. I already got paint color matched for touch ups - but how ridiculous is that? You should be able to receive the furniture in PERFECT condition and that just isn't going to happen if you buy your baby furniture at Babies R US.If you have the money, spend it on the better brands at the specialty stores, i.e. [@], [@], [@], [@] - where delivery and set up in the nursery is included and you won't receive damaged furniture. You get what you pay for.The crib is "lifetime" but I'm beginning to doubt if it will last given the poor workmanship and paint.Now we have to haul the dresser back to Babies R Us for them to exchange it they will exchange with a new one at no charge, but of course, you have to haul it there and haul the new one back to your house.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
