I would not recomend this potty to anyone with a boy! My son has been doing great getting to the potty in time to do his buisness, but the potty is NOT designed well at all! The "guard" in the front is not high enough to cover little boys' pee pees, and even if he holds it down while he pees, the pee still leaks from the potty and goes everywhere!! I find that I'm cleaning up pee everytime my son goes the bathroom...totally defeats the purpose of potty training!

Very cute looking and I liked that it was a potty, toilet seat and step in one. However, the guard at the front is not tall enough to cover a boys pee pee, the pee goes everywhere. It is not functional for a boy. The seat fits on the tollet tightly, but it has clasps that grip underneath the toilet rim. While it is very secure, it means u have to unclasp it each time which means touching the underneath of the toilet seat a lot. It would be nicer if it just balanced on the seat. The clasps would be fine if your bathroom was dedicated to your toddler, and not a family bathroom, so u could leave to in place all the time. Otherwise it's removal is a pain.

wish i would have read these reviews before purchasing the potty chair but we were in the store and my son wanted it and he had xmas money so why not encourage going to the potty. the seat is very small, difficult to clean compared to the comfy cushy, not good for boys (shield is not tall enough, and doesn't fit on our standard toilet very well either. the voice is not even "mickey's" and it only says one thing. my son likes it because there is a picture of mickey mouse and his club house. overall, i am disappointed.

My son loves this potty. He presses the handle over and over and loves the hip hip hooray. He likes sitting on it and the cushioned seat seems comfortable to him.

That said, it really isnt great for boys. It needs a bigger or taller little cup in the front to prevent pee from just going everywhere. The one good side I guess, is that it forces him to hold his little wee wee down into the potty which might help him adjust to stand up peeing better. :) But for me, I'd rather it function better as is.

The seat is very small and does not fit over our toilet as it should. We were also very disappointed that it does not feature Mickey's voice, only a generic "Hip hip hooray." Since we bought it online, we did not know that ahead of time. Our son loves Mickey, so we thought it would be a great incentive for him to use this potty, but all he wants to do it take it apart. Not impressed with this potty at all!

I got this potty because we are in love with mickey mouse, but it is not ideal for boys. The guard is way too short where he would pee straight over it if he had used the potty. There are way too many parts, all he wants to do is disassemble it. It is very cute and yells hip hip hooray when you "flush" but is also very narrow. I am taking this product back for a refund. I wanted to like this so bad, but it has everything going against it.
