This toy arch has adjustable clamps on either side that twist to fit various thicknesses of car seats. It fits our Graco Snug Ride 30 car seat. It is very sturdy and the arch has positions it can pop in to both forward and backward toward the baby. As for coloring, half of the toy looks like it is geared towards girls while the other half could be for boys. We bought it for our son and don't think it is too girly. Our son is 4 months so he is interested in grabbing the toy every now and then but he mostly just stares at it. His favorite thing is the handle that you can pull to move the fan blades (they spin pretty fast).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

At first, we thought it wouldn't fit on his bouncy but it did. At first, we thought it was too busy, contrary to complaints of reduction in gadgets but it is really just enough for our 4 month old's level of development. We are really to see how he is trying to grasp each of the items and get the feel of them. For this price, we don't expect it to last forever nor to be full-time entertainment, so we'd recommend this highly.

My child is just 8 weeks old so he only looks at it and hits the hanging parts by accident but I can tell his is starting to notice the different pieces so we are on our way. It still keeps him content in his portable bassinet for a bit.

I bought this product as a baby shower gift for a cousin who lives in La Jolla, CA, who is due in June. It was on her registry and when she received it, she said she and her husband opened it and she couldn't get him to stop playing with it. She's afraid she'll have to get him one of his own once the baby arrives! She said it's very durable and looks like it will give the baby lots of fun things to play with.
