We got this stroller today to replace the Cortina that came with our car seat. The Cortina was way too big for my car's hatchback (Mazda3 in case anyone has a similar car), heavy, and bulky although yes, convenient for popping in the car seat. However after much research, we traded it in for the Liteway. So far, its great.

I literally only had to pop on the wheels and snap on the canopy to set it up, 5 minutes. It is not intuitively easy to open and close however once you do it two or three times, it is simple. Not one-handed but I will gladly trade that for the lightweight joy of this stroller.

To address a few issues I have seen in other reviews: yes, the canopy does have a tinted "window" that lets in light. If it bothers my son I will drape a blanket over it. The canopy is very large and gives a lot of shade, which I love. It does extend a little further than most of the pictures online show. It can also zip off if for some reason you don't want/need it.

Also, yes, the canopy CAN lock into position and yes, you have to unlock it when folding/closing the stroller. If that bothers you, either remember to unlock it before closing, don't lock it into place to begin with (you don't have to), or find another stroller. It doesn't bother me personally.

The basket is handy if you don't need a "Cadillac" to cart all your stuff (we don't, that's why we got rid of the bigger Cortina stroller) and yeah, it turns into a cute little carry bag if needed. I see this being good at like a theme park or airport maybe.

The recline does go flat or several positions in between. The rain/weather boot stores easily under the end of the seat which I think is pretty cool. Its attached so you won't accidentally lose it too. About those straps...they are sewn at the top where the shoulders go. About an inch down, they're also held in place by a little fabric strip but as your baby grows, you CAN adjust. Its hard to explain in writing but it is possible to mess with the straps and "free" them from these fabric strips. I mention this because I've seen other reviewers say the straps are sewn down here. They're not, you just have to fiddle with the whole harness system to free them.

It seems sturdy and easy to steer though I can't comment on how it handles on ALL terrain. Its good for the city, I think, and definitely compact cars or as a second for babysitters or grandparents. I am 5"7 and I think the handles feel good height-wise. Perhaps a tad short for taller (6' and up) folks but then what umbrella stroller isn't?

Lastly, I love the color. Its a very rich jewel tone, what I'd call "rainforest green" accented with a mocha tan color. I personally think you could use it for boys or girls (we have a boy). The fabric seems to be durable and like it would be easy to clean, like most Chicco products

Bought this stroller after my third was a year old, we have purchased many different strollers over the years to fit our needs and I really liked the compactness and lightweight of this stroller. But after less than a year of use the front wheel broke. There is no easy way to clean the seat after a spill. And my daughter outgrew the crotch strap placement before she turned two. I had to adjust all the buckles and it now pulls funny on her legs to buckle her up.
Cup holders where not an issue, we just bought an attachment to go across the back handles.
Of all our strollers, graco single and double, single and double joggers, umbrella type strollers, I liked this one the best but am very disappointed at how well it held up.

I love how compact this stroller is yet gives the feel of the bigger ones. Folds up small and light weight. I would suggest buying the extra storage organizer that can slide on over top the handles. This will be wonderful to take on our vacation.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Stroller - Juniper:

A must have for moms! When my son grew out of the infant carrier and caddy, we needed a new stroller. I wanted one that was light weight, easy to fold and had a five point harness to belt him in. The five point harness was key because he is a mover. This has everything! The seat adjusts backwards so he can sleep. It's easy to open and close and lift in and out of the car. I love that it's easy to push and not as bulky as some strollers. The storage below isn't very large and turns into a back pack. We keeps ours on all the time as it can be time consuming to take off. I like that it has a cup holder you can add.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Stroller - Juniper:

I absolutely love this stroller! I wanted a stroller that was lightweight, yet still had the recline and comfort of a full-size stroller. We bought a hauck turbo deluxe stroller and the quality was so bad, I returned it and got the lightway stoller. I love all chicco products, they make everything so well, yet the prices are very affordable!

I love the recline mechanism and that you can do it single handedly, no strings to pull. I love how compact it is, and still has all the bells and whisltes. I like that there is a cup holder, love the look, love the way it rides, and all my kids fit in there (separatetly) 15 mo, 3 yo, 5 yo, and even my 7 yo tried it out :)

The canopy is pretty good, althoug I wish it had one of those pop-out expandable canopies, but its still a descent size, you could unzip it and lower it if need be. Another thing I really like is the good size basket that can transform into a backpack, although I wish there was a small zipper pouch for the parents small essentials on the back of the canopy attachment. but other than those two small wishes the stroller is absolutely perfect!

The material is awesome, good quality, and the frame is very sturdy, love the adjustable footrest, and very compact when folded. Folding is very easy, no hands involved, just use your feet. Love that there is a self-lock. opening is even easier.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Stroller - Juniper:

This is the perfect light weight stroller. Needed something lighter to take for walks in the mall, and other short errands around town. This is a very sturdy stroller, not flimsy like a basic umbrella stroller. The main reason I bought the Chicco liteway was because it can accomodate from newborn to preschooler as the seat reclines completely. Also the other umbrella strollers I've had were way too short. I'm 5'5" and this stroller is very comfortable to push. Its very easy to steer and I don't hit the wheels when I push it. The crotch strap doesn't adjust but the shoulder straps do, its very easy to adjust the harness straps for a larger child. Very easy to assemble, just snap 2 front wheels on and snap the canopy on and you're done! Love this stroller, couldn't be happier!

This is a great stroller! I love how it folds like an umbrella stroller, it is not to big to fit in the car of my Honda Civic, the bars are high enough that my husband at 6'3" can push it with no problem and it reclines flat. The only down fall is that it does not have a tray for the baby to put snacks or his cup in but I don't care. Everything else out weights that. I highly recommend this stroller. It is the only one we have/use. Plus the handle to carry it when it is folded up is a plus.

The product is great, we love the color, it has a higher weight capacity than our current umbrella Chicco, and is not much heavier. It also rolls better on larger wheels, and the handles are easier to hold and push on than hard plastic of our umbrella stroller. We bought this for the newborn capacity, as we had sold the first one from some other brand that was much too cumbersome and barely fit in our car.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Stroller - Juniper:

I bought this to keep at my house for when I have my nephew. I didn't want a huge stroller because he was 13 month's old when we got it. I can comfortably push it at 5'4" and so can my fiance at 6'5" and my nephew (now 18 month's) looks comfortable in it. This stroller has made multiple trips to Disney World and has been great. I love how easy it is to open and close and also that the sunscreen can unzip and move in case the sun is in front if you. I plan on using this is the future when I have kids and would recommend it to others.
