THE HAIR is what it's all about! We had two our generation dolls from Target. Forget about those! The hair is a horrendous mess (I tried the downy dunk and cutting it, etc...horrible) Then we found Journey Girls! Thank Goodness! They are great quality. Hair is soft and so easy to style and brush (make sure you use a doll hair brush) and their eyes are beautiful (even though they don't close). They are so much cuter than American Girl dolls (I can't stand those teeth either) and cheaper (I have 4 girls so have to be cost conscious). Their clothes are less expensive too but good quality (unlike our generation...super cheaply made). My daughters almost have the whole collection. I hope they make more (an asian doll would be nice). They love them and I can't recommend them enough!

I love this doll!!!!!!! She is very real looking and her hair is amazing. This is a must have for all doll lovers!!! I believe that this doll is prettier than other dolls that cost more. Her clothing is so cute and easy to take on and off. I have had this doll for a year and she is still looks great. Journey Girls would be a great gift to any child or collector. This is a great doll!!!!!

Nice doll very compareable to a more expensive brand except for this doll's eyes do not close. My only complaint comes with the way it was packaged. All of her clothes are attached with plastic tags and even after carefully removing them with scissors they leave large holes in all of her clothing.

It'sall about the hair. Journey girls hair doesn't become a ratted rat's nest within a few weeks like the target our generation dolls. The journey girls hair is soft and easy to brush and they are so much prettier than American Girl dolls ( I can't stand those teeth!). For [$], i bought the doll and got a free outfit including shoes. You simply cannot beat the price for what you get. American Girls are just too expensive! the only negative is their eyes do not close. Other than that the best!!!

Well Meredith, was a beautiful wonderful doll. The outfitt was so cute. But we ordered off line and she came with her leg lose and hanging off. And her dress came torn. I just felt like it deserved a 1 star.
