        Bought this set for my 2.5 year old. She doesn't put things in her mouth, but loves to play with small items!! This is perfect for her -it has little gates that can close so she can put the animals inside, plus learning how to take care of animals with various accessories! It's nice to have it with a solid base so that smaller children don't have to put up fences, stand things up, etc. With the solid base, all they do is move the people/animals around. Highly recommend for any age!
