    My girls received this as a gift on their 2nd birthday. I was worried it would be too advanced, but they really like it. You press a button and the lady gives a command followed by appropriate music. Commands like 'slither like a snake or 'soar like an eagle'. The music sounds very much like the activity. I play along (which is great exercise for me). My girls are starting to recognize the words. They know fly, slither, hop, jump, soar without my example. And my daughters know what button to push to make it work. I love that they are learning all these words and that it is such an active toy. We are all having fun with it!

      My son got this for his 4th Birthday... he LOVES it. He loves using his imagination to do all of the silly things the wand tells him to do... he and his 6 year old cousin played with it for hours the first day!
