I'm a admirer of dolls and puppets, love the characters designs from monster high, and highly recommend them to tween girls or collectors like me. A little flimsy and unable to stand on its own, but good nonetheless.

At first I was a bit annoyed at the notion of ANOTHER swimwear based Monster High series released so close to the Gloom Beach series. However, once I saw the dolls, of course I was hooked. Draculaura comes to you wearing a modest striped swimsuit that is reminiscent of the 1950's, an adorable sarong, and the cutest sailor hat. She comes with a refreshing tropical drink accessory in a flower shaped cup. This version of Draculaura is highly desirable for customization, as her hair easily lends itself to restyling, and she is less expensive than many other versions of Draculaura. Skull Shores Draculaura comes with a brush, and a doll stand, making her quite complete for one of the less expensive series! As with all of the Monster High dolls, I recommend her for older kids right on up to adults. Mattel has specified the dolls as being appropriate for ages 6 and up, but I find that the limb construction just doesn't hold up well under the vigorous play of younger kids! As such, I recommend for ages 11 and up, unless your kids are very responsible beyond their years, and are very careful with their toys (in which case 8 or 9 years and up would be fine as far the toy holding up). My niece (age 6) has been given several of these dolls from well-meaning relatives and friends, and naturally having been exposed to the notion of "friendly, fab monsters", she believed she was ready for scary movies, only to find herself having nightmares, and unable to sleep with her dolls in her room. Draculaura has a jointed body for endless posing possibilities. As such, she makes a great addition to ANY doll collection, whether it be for play, or display, right out of the box!

My daughter just loves all the monster high item, I just wish they where in the stores more, You go to buy a item in the store and the whole monster high items are gone! They are different from the barbie, they are cute!!!

My mom ordered this doll for me from the Toys R Us website last Friday and she can in the mail this Wednesday! Am very happy with the quick shipping!

This is a very lovely doll and she's dressed up like a sailor! I'd have to say this doll is much more prettier than her Gloom Beach one. The bottom of the bathing suit has a bit longer legs than a normal bathing suit and I like that! Her hair style is very cute! She has anchor earrings and a bracelet with an anchor on it as well. Her sandals have anchor heels on it.

She comes with a card with her picture on one side and the map of Skull Shores on the other. She, also, comes with a drink which the glass is in the shape of a flower. Very beautiful doll and worthy of any Monster High collection!

Just a few little things I'd like to point out...

1. Her hat is held on with black string and elastic. I would suggest leaving the elastic there, or you'll never be able to get her hat on her again. It, also, says MH on the top of her hat.

2. Her shoes are held on with elastic as well, for there is nothing behind her heels, so the shoes slid on like flip flops. I would suggest leaving the elastic on, or you might not be able to keep her shoes on without them falling off.
