This is one of my favorite sets int this whole franchise. Scratch that, it IS my favorite set in this whole franchise. Why? Well, it has many great things every LEGO set should have. Let me get into the review. The model. This star ship looks great! It makes a Excellent display on your shelf of LEGO. This was the most complexed (I hope that's a word.) Design ever. Good job person who made this! It uses many MANY Technic pieces in the wings which suits it very well. Those Technic pieces also make is SUPER sturdy. Brilliant design and has cool features! My personal favorite is how you can store everybody in the ship! I hate having in figures lingering around my room and no space to put them in the ship. The pieces are about 12 cents each. A bit pricey, but its well worth it. ;) MINI-FIGS Absolute perfection. The figures are Gorgeous! I ish it came with a Jedi and a clone just to add to it. It wouldn't hurt LEGO. Sith troopers: Brilliant. They are AMAZING and would be awesome to make a army out of! They have nice designs and colours (I live in Canada it's spelled colours here.) So yeah these figures are great! Darth Malgus: This is what makes this set my favorite. LOOK AT HIM JUST LOOK HOW MUCH DETAIL. LEGO went ALL out on this guy and put 101 efforts in him. All going down to the cape, Torso printing, Chest armour, ETC!!! (Yes, we also spell armor armour in Canada.) He is my favorite mini figure. And my favorite minifigure before SWTOR's Era was the first Darth vader, yeah, i'm tough ;). Pros and cons pros: -AMAZING DESIGN -UNIQUE -GREAT PLAY EXPERIENCE -FIT EVERY MINIFIG IN THE SHIP -FUN TO BUILD -GREAT MINIFIGS -SMALL AMOUNT OF STICKERS; CONS: -PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT -NEEDS MORE MINIFIGS! Conclusion; This set is a MUST buy! Go to the store and get it! VERY well worth it! I give this set 10/10 with the title of PERFECTION! Yeah i know this isn't IGN XD. I Loved lego for 9 years now and this one is my favorite. I think I know what i'm talking about ;).

It looks great when it is together, and the boys love the figures, but all the wings fall apart at the slightest touch and it is incredibly difficult to get them back on without knocking something else off. Mom and Dad constantly need to help put it back together. As a result, it has a special shelf that it sits on and hardly gets played with. I hesitate to buy any more Legos with wings.

Probably One of my New Favorites

By DillonG

from Undisclosed

Comments about LEGO Star Wars Sith Fury-Class Interceptor (9500):

I've been building Star Wars Legos for quite a while. I love them! My collection, of just Star Wars Legos alone, is getting pretty large. With this, I can safely say that this set is one of the coolest (if not THE coolest) I own. I applaud the Lego engineer(s) who created this ship. The wings are very intricate and well thought out. Also, like everyone else on here says, Darth Malgus is spectacular. Pros: -Extremely fun to build. It can be kind of challenging if you aren't an experienced builder, but there is still tons of fun to be had. -Darth Magus is a 10/10 figure. -Looks great in every way. -Surprisingly sturdy for its looks. It isn't unbreakable, but it's definitely not fragile. -Well worth the expensive price, in my opinion. Cons: -The description says that the rear compartment has room for 2 Sith Troopers, 2 Blasters, and Darth Malgus' lightsaber, but, unless one of the Sith Troopers is holding his blaster or Malgus's saber, one of the weapons is going to be flopping around in the back. (Although, if there is this spot for the lightsaber that just seems to be avoiding me, I have no legitimate complaints about this set whatsoever.)

This ship is an amazing build. Super fun, great details and really awesome mini figures. Darth Malgus has some great details and his Sith Troopers are cool too. The "hydraulics" in the wing assembly are a beautiful touch.

The price is a little high but if you get it on a good sale its fantastic.

Comments about LEGO Star Wars Sith Fury-Class Interceptor (9500):

This Lego set is pretty awesome! The only issues I have are in the difficulty level. The wing segments are in four parts that takes some delicate hands to fit together. The set is also much smaller than I first anticipated based on the size of the box.

Other than those items it is a very nice set, as it comes with three figures that can all fit in the fighter. The main cockpit is well designed and has two joints that use locking segments when opening and closing, just not sure how long they would last if a child was using this toy. The rear hatch opens to an ejection pod with the other two figures and uses the same two fold locking segments.

    Most Impressive

    By kiwibuilder

    from Undisclosed

Comments about LEGO Star Wars Sith Fury-Class Interceptor (9500):

When I told a friend I was building this, I described it as kind of a TIE fighter. And while the design elements are there, this is kind of a proto-TIE fighter, it's way more complex and satisfying than that. As with some licensed LEGO products, it's a bit more than you might spend on a City set of the same size. This is the rare occasion when I'm going to say it's worth it. Some of the specialized pieces are very complex, the minifigs and accessories are great, and the finished product is, frankly, epic. There is a substantial number of Technics pieces here to support the very complicated wing structure. It is not an easy build, but it is extremely satisfying. One of the things I like most about LEGO is those moments where you discover the way something is built and go "Oh that's clever!" This set is drowning in them. The way the wings are constructed, to be sturdy and maintain the light structure they have is ingenious and practically worth the price of admission alone. The articulation of the rear wings, especially in light of how surprisingly secure the front wings are is really impressive. Highly recommended for any LEGO star wars fan.

    Great Set + Darth Malgus!

    By RicoDeLaFunk

    from Toronto

Comments about LEGO Star Wars Sith Fury-Class Interceptor (9500):

First, the Darth Malgus minifig may be the best minifig I've seen (close seconds to the Simpsons ones). Great detail, printed legs and torso, amazing armor and facial detail. The two troops also are great, especially the helmets. The set itself looks amazing when built. There was some repetition in the last third of the build but it's to be expected for a model like this one. I'm quite in awe of how the whole wing assembly works, amazing design work on that. Pros: Looks amazing Darth Malgus could be the best minifig ever Only 4 stickers! Incredible techniques used to design wing assembly Sturdy All the minifig fit inside! Cons: Slightly repetitive last third of build

It took me almost an 1hr 1/2 to build...Longest yet! And after all that, my son didn't like the fact that the back "wings" didn't stay "still". The ball joint makes them open really easy and he wants them glued into place. It was really cool looking tho!
