Currently pregnant with my first baby and in the midst of contractions, the camera is currently used by my boyfriend so we can communicate with each other during the night. :)
We have ample time to familiarize ourselves with this new little gadget very useful. The picture quality is incredible with night vision and do not create disturbing light as the illuminated LED.
In short, we are very confident that this monitor will be well suited to our need for security during the upcoming arrival of our little girl.

The monitor as a whole was pretty neat. I loved the lullaby feature the most. It had a good signal and the VOX feature was nice. It didn't have a lot of static or background noise. The daytime camera was not what I expected as it's colors were hardly, well, colorful...but not a big deal when I could still see my little guy just fine. I was not impressed by the talk to baby feature. When we were testing, our voices cames through very garbled, I think this would have scared him! I also had the same problem with the monitor not charging. It would turn green right when I plugged it in and within the hour, it would be red again and I would leave it on all day with it never charging. We returned this product and would not buy it again.

I just got the Levana Safe n'See™ Digital Video Baby Monitor LV-TW501 for Christmas and I love it!I love the night vision and the intercom. So far I have had no problems with it, the only thing that could be better is the video quality.

We bought the Levana LV-TW501 - Baby monitoring system - wireless - 2.4 GHz 1 camera(s) - 2.4" and absolutely love ths product. It was easy to set up and is very user friendly. I would recommend Levana products to anyone. The only downside is that we sometimes lose the signal when in our basement, but as long as we turn off the handset and turn it back on the signal reconnects.

I am expecting my first baby and I work form home so i wanted a really good monitor for the times. The play back, music, and temperature monitor work fine. What i was not pleased with especially for the price was the fact that the color was not vibrant like the demo online showed. We have a dark brown crib which showed up as purple on the screen. the night vision worked fine, but the color display could use some improvement.

There is no background noise. The sound is wonderful. The picture quality is wonderful. I could not be happier with the product. The only slightly negative thing is that the lullabies are louder on the parent unit that in the baby's room, but that is okay...he does not really use the lullabies anyway.

Product is awful. Monitor always froze and you would need to shut it off and restart it every 20 minutes or so. The video camera is adjustable, but it "flops" down.. it doesn't have strong traction so you can never get the placement you want. Also, the one year warranty is only on replacement, not on returns. I would never buy this brand again. Their customer service department is awful as well. I had to go buy a new monitor that night, I went with Summer Infant. Babies R Us would not take the return even though it had only been open one month because they do not sell it in stores.. So you have to go through the Levana co. DON'T DO IT!! AWFUL AWFUL PURCHASE!!

This product is not the greates! After viewing other comments I putchased it!, as soon as took it out the box the monitor would not charge!! Waited till the next day and still nothing... The picture is not clear and returned it immediately!

I can't give a whole 5 stars, because I have yet to actually use it on the baby. She isn't due til August. BUT my husband and I have been playing with it non stop! Yes, it beeps when you turn it on, but only the parent unit. Not that big of a deal. The camera details are crisp, the sound is great, the lullibies are cute and the ability to talk back to the baby is AWESOME in my opinion. My husband already has it on his side of the bed ready to go. He loves turning it on to look in at the crib, just waiting to get to actually see a baby. I've babysat for years and dealt with many many monitors. Some have just so much static, and the picture freezes. I haven't seen any of that with this monitor. Love this product!
