I bought this for my four year old son online and picked it up in the Paramus location. Assembled it in January. I waited for 40 minutes to pick it up at the store. They brought me the wrong car at first. Don't recommend buying online and store pick up. You'll be waiting for a long time. My brother assembled it, it never ever worked.

I'm a working mom, and have been too busy to get to returning the car or inquiring about having it repaired till today. Didn't spend the extra $40 to get a 2 year buyer protection. It should have a warranty. Toys R US, couldn't help me repair this or give me a new one. Although after speaking to customer service several times, I found out it's a contracted car that's manufactured for Toys R US- according to the sales rep. They gave me the wrong number to another manufacturer- when I called and asked about this car- the lady on the other line informed me they only make audis and mercedes. She suggested I call Toys R US back. One hour later....I'm nowhere.

Store manager gets on the phone and asks me for the serial number so they can figure out where to call for repair. On the owner's manual- there's only an address (IN MEXICO!!).

I'm basically left feeling I should eat my money for a toy that doesn't work, never did, never will since I can't ship this 50 lb toy all the way to Mexico to have it looked at.

The least they can do is refer me to a repair center nearby, instead of giving me a bunch of numbers to call to find out they do not even manufacture this car.

My daughter loves it and always wants to drive it! The build quality is great and durability seems to be just as great with the over 6 months of use it has had already. The aesthetic details are great, but one would expect that since its appears to be licensed with Ferrari.

I just ordered this item today and i received a notification that my order was cancelled. This is of course after they charged my credit card. And since i needed this item next week for my son's birthday gift, i called the actual store where i'm supposed to pick up the item and i was told that the item was discontinued! Toys R Us Website is misleading, why would they still post an item in their website if it's discontinued and not available in stock anywhere!!!

My son absolutely loves his new car.
I am very greatful that I bought this product.
The only thing that I did not like was bthe fact that I purchased this product online and my order was cancelled due to the fact that they no longer had this in the store for pick up. Then I come to find out that my money would not be refunded to me for 5 business days. I then went to the store that I set up the "in store pickup" to see what they had left to find out that the product that I ordered was actually in the store. I had to spend double the money in one day. Never again will I order anything online.

Great looking and well built car. The assembly is very straight forward and simple. You will really appreciate the details during assembly. Being licensed by Ferrari, its one of the best looking F430 ride-ons. My daughter loves riding it and it has decent speed. It's a 6v, not a 12v, so take that in consideration with the expectations. Looks upgradable to 12v if truly desired, but that's not just a simple battery change modification. Steering, accelerator pedal and fwd/rev shifter work great. Traction is good for plastic wheels and is ideal for non-grass surfaces. Definitely a great buy, especially if you want a Ferrari body.
