Our boy is obsessed with BumbleBee so when he saw this he HAD to have it. From day one the thing has had a whine in the gearbox. Not long after we got it a sideview mirror fell off, the rims look almost like ghetto spinners because they don't seat properly on the car. It's had several bad wiring connections my husband has had to repair including the problem with it not going into gear as other reviewers stated. FYI: the problem with the gear shift is due to the holes on the box that holds the shift switch not lining up. When all four screws all are in it bows the box keeping the lever from activating the switch. We left two screws out and our car now shifts fine. This car is the biggest piece of junk we have ever purchased for any of the kids and with 4 boys we've had a boatload of ride-on toys. Save your money and your child's dissapointment: buy a Powerwheels. We have a 6 year old Grave Digger from Powerwheels that could pass for brand new if wasn't faded. If I could give this waste of money negative stars I would.

Purchased this for my 4 year old son who is a Transformer SUPER fan. He loves it roaring down the sidewalk pretending he's talking to Bumble Bee.

I downloaded a Transformer logo and printed it on a label to give the the car that extra special something for him. You won't believe what a hit it was.

Bought this for my 4 year old and he loves it!! He is a big fan of transformers and wanted this for his birthday. The assembly wasn't bad but I enjoy building things.

He loves to cruz around the block with us as we go for walks and he does circles around us. The only thing that would make this better is if it had the Transformer shield on it.

My son used his car 4 times. The car will not go forward only in Reverse. We paid about [$] for a car like this. I am so unhappy and think we should get our $$$$ back!!!

When I took my grandson in toys r u he soooo fell in love with this bumble bee car. Hes a Transformer nut. So for his birthday I purchased it for him. For [$] with extended warrenty I thought he would of gotten more than 3 days worth of riding it. The car will not go forward in either gear. It does however go backwards. I also noticed that if you try to line up the front wheels to go straight, the left one always points hard to the left. So I have 3 tires lined up straight and one that points to the left. This equals dog tracking which in return has chewed up the rubber tracking band that goes around the back tires. This product is a joke. Going to take it back for a refund a get a different brand like power toys. Grandson is going to be heart broken.

My grandson had been asking for a "Bumble Bee car" for the past 6 months. We searched all over and found the best looking "ride on" that most resembled the car in the movie Transformers was the Avigo 12v Camaro with black stripes. We purchased the car at the Fairview Texas ToysRUs the day before his birthday. I assembled the car and found that the instructions appeared to be for another vehicle although the instruction manual was titled as the correct vehicle. I managed to get it assembled through trial and error, we charged it up and gave it to him the next day at his birthday party.To my grandson's disappointment and my wife and my frustration the car will not go in reverse. All 3 shifter positions go forward. The gears and shifter already came pre-assembled. I am taking it back to ToysRus today where I am going to demand that they make this right. Spending [$] on a toy is hard enough to do but it is a nightmare when the product does not even work.

i, too, have had to replace both motors on the first 30 days. less than a year old and i refuse to sink any more money in it. never had problems from other brands like powerwheels or peg perigo.

Bought this for my 3 year old daughter when it was NOT on sale.... she rode it a total of 3 times before it broke. Found out the gears were stripped & cant find anyone to fix it. Wasted about $400 and the worst part is she cant ride with her friends.

This was bought for my nephew last June for his birthday. It is now March and he has only ridden in it 3 times. The warranty is a joke. They are rude and not very helpful, they sent us a new battery, still not working, new motor and make us put it in ourselves and it STILL doesn't work!! Now they refuse to replace it. We spent like [$] for the car and another $70 for a useless warranty. I plan to go to my local news as well as the BBB to complain. Can you tell I'm really upset? I mean this is for a sweet little boy and everytime he wants to ride it we have to tell him its broken. I will never buy another riding toy from Toys R Us.

i love this car especially the strips makes it look more like a spaorts car my baby loves it. this is our first baby and we bought him this car at one yr old "yes were krazy" but he stands right next to his car and listens to the radio best power wheel out there..
