I bought this for my 3 year old granddaugter.The clip holding the pedal on broke off the first time she used it. We finally were able to contact the company and they sent a replacement clip. This broke the next time she used it. My husband replaced this pedal with one from an old ride on toy. She used it once more before the other pedal broke. Now she has an almost new toy with old, used pedals. My own kids had the Original Big Wheel and it was well made. This is a cheap, poorly made imitation.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My sons had a big wheel when they were little and I wanted to get one for my grandson and granddaughter. When they arrived I was so excited. I put them together all by myself and it was so easy. The quality is as great as it was 30 years ago. They were so excited when they saw them and so were my sons. They were a great purchase and I plan on getting another one for my littlest grandson soon.

I bought it for my 3 year old daughter less than 2 weeks ago and the plastic pegs in the seat broke off as she was riding. I cannot seem to find a replacement part now. Not real happy with the quality of this item--I'm surprised!
