When you open the box you notice riht away how cheap quality this is. Now after 4 months of use during winter time (so he didn't even use it that much) the back rest snapped right off as my 3.5yr old was pedaling up hill. He was so disappointed!
You can't ride a big wheel without a back rest.

        Some of the parts are made cheaper than in the past but my kids love the Big Wheel just like we did as kids. The seat broke within two weeks. The company did send out a new seat free of charge.

        Bought two as gifts for twin grandsons. Difficult to assemble. Measured metal rods used for axels - every one was about 1/8 inch short. One of the wheels will not stay on as it does not have enough axel length. Already tossed the box and do not have manufacturer info or would glady send comments to them also. My recommendation - Do Not Buy.

        My grandchild use it for 5 minutes and didn't use it again , he doesn't seem to feel comfortable riding it, no traction whatsoever, sliding all over the place..plus a huge pain to assemble (MY SON DID IT AND WASN'T VERY THRILLED) a rip off

              I've put together tons of toys, bikes, outside play houses, etc., and this was one of the most poorly designed toys I've ever dealt with. In no way is this a user friendly toy to put together. It took forever to put together and the instructions were not very clear. Once I figured out each step, it was incredibly difficult to complete it! There was not a single step in the assembly that was quick or easy, each step was difficult! Also, I'm very unimpressed with the likely durability of this product. It has a very flimsy design and the wheels and seat look extremely cheap. Huge disappointment so far. I'll post again if this thing lasts a month without issues.

                  My 3 year old was so excited to receive this as a gift. However his excitement was short lived a week later when the plastic seat cracked. The wheel was also showing signs of being worn out. Very disappointed in the quality especially since I had a big wheel as a child that lasted several years. I exchanged it and for a few extra dollars purchased the radio flyer big wheel.......much better quality item.

                    We got this present for our 4-year-old and in less than two weeks, the seat has broken off. The wedges to fit the pedal is loose, forcing the pedals shift making it hard to steer. I would not recommend this item.
