This doll is beautiful. The only thing that I didn't like was that her arms are hinged and the gloves are not detachable (they are her "forearm"). But other than that, great quality!! My daughter is going to love this birthday present!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          Purchased this for my 8 y/o for Christmas who decided she wants to start "collecting" along with her everyday play Barbie dolls. This will be the first one of her "special" dolls. I couldn't believe how beautiful this doll was when I picked it up off the shelf! This one won't be removed from the box as long as I can help it! (We'll see!)
