My son is 6 and loves Batman. This set was a huge disappointment. It's difficult to hook-up Batman to slide across the playset and then he oftens misses the yellow kick plate that's suppose to open the trap door. The set is flimsy and my son got frustrated with it right away. The elevator does not move smoothly. There aren't many fun features to engage play. The set is going back tomorrow.

My son picked this out with his birthday money and it looked pretty cool on the box. But the excitement didn't last too long. He was quickly disappointed when he realized he didn't have the Batmobile to drive thru the gate. Once assembled the pieces do not really stay put, this thing falls apart so easily and we've already lost pieces. It's not getting played with much anymore, unfortunately. The "elevator" isn't a very smooth ride, it's kind of awkward, and Batman doesn't actually slide on the zip line by himself, you have to maneuver him or he just falls. Pretty lame, compared to our expectations from what the packaging showed. There's lots of other Bat Cave playsets from other brands and I regret not going with a different one.
