This latest addition to the Architecture series is absolutely wonderful. A good level of detail, given the scale, with just a bit of extra challenge compared to the other towers in the set. Overall it's a really fun build and looks great with the rest of the sets in the theme.

not what it looks like on picture

This is not what I expected. It's colored and tiny, like a very small version of what's shown in the pic. I'm returning it! What a waste of my time.

I bought this as a part of my husband's Father's Day gift. Yes, my husband lol Use builds and collects the Lego Architecture sets.
It was easy to put together, sturdy, and looked almost exactly like the real thing. He was very pleased and now it's on the shelf next to his others.

      Excellent LEGO set

      By theref

      from Edinburgh

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

Got this as a father's day present as something me and my 4 year old son could work on in advance of our trip to London. It's been a great success - it's pretty straightforward to build - too complex for a 4 year old to easily follow the instructions, but easy enough that he can build it with an adult's direction, so works well as an activity to do together. The model looks very nice, fair amount of detail, and completed looks like a good replication of the real thing. My other son (who is 2) also took great delight in destroying it - but both boys were delighted when they then got the chance to see the real thing. Highly recommended.

The first Lego Architecture kit I gave to my 8 years old son.
It took him 3 hours to build the elegant Big Ben. It is moderately complicated to build for 8 year kid. The build is elegent and a nice showpiece otem that you would be happy to preserve as a display item.

This was one of my grandson's birthday presents. He loved it and built it right away. It was so timely, because at the time, he was working on a report about England in school. As his grandma, I love giving him the Lego Architecture Series sets. They peek curiosity to learn about these building and their countries.

        Very accurate

        By LucasSteuber

        from Portland

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

The pro of this set is that it's immediately identifiable and looks precisely like the building that it represents. The con is that it's relatively repetitive to build, quite small, and a bit limited (wouldn't it be cool if it also included the parliament building - or if that structure was available as a modular addon). I'm glad I have it, it's a neat thing to add to my architecture skyline, but if it was the first one that I purchased I think I'd be a bit disappointed. I'd pick up one of the more technically impressive models first, like the Trevi Fountain, Tower of Pisa, Sydney Opera House, etc., unless you have a special interest in Big Ben.

        Why, Hello Inner Child...

        By TeslaFan

        from Undisclosed

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

After about 30 years of not touching a Lego, Big Ben awoke my inner child. I bought this on a whim while visiting Legoland San Diego with the kids. I really enjoyed piecing this simple model together while learning some light history about Big Ben from the instruction booklet. At 5:30am each morning of our stay, I slowly put Big Ben together in the Legoland cafe, enjoying some coffee and quiet time before all the kids woke up. The instruction booklet and box have a sophisticated look and feel, the assembly easy, and it makes a nice display.
