This latest addition to the Architecture series is absolutely wonderful. A good level of detail, given the scale, with just a bit of extra challenge compared to the other towers in the set. Overall it's a really fun build and looks great with the rest of the sets in the theme.

not what it looks like on picture

This is not what I expected. It's colored and tiny, like a very small version of what's shown in the pic. I'm returning it! What a waste of my time.

    Little Big Ben

    By VariousBones

    from Portage

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

I am a big admirer of the sets in the architecture line and love the beauty and simplicity of little Big Ben. The build was quick and easy and completed in about 45 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow and contain plenty of information about the clock and its designers. There are a lot of small parts and a bit of intricate placement for some of the pieces, and, for a brief time, it becomes a bit repetitive, but the final result is totally worth it. The building is nice and smooth making the display-ability spectacular. Everyone instantly recognizes it as Big Ben. It is also priced about right for the amount of pieces that you receive. Instead of a "play rating" for the architecture sets, I consider that a "display rating" and this one definitely gets high marks. It truly does look great on my shelf or desk (I rotate out the other sets to keep things fresh). Enjoy, and happy building!

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

This was one of my grandson's birthday presents. He loved it and built it right away. It was so timely, because at the time, he was working on a report about England in school. As his grandma, I love giving him the Lego Architecture Series sets. They peek curiosity to learn about these building and their countries.

      Very accurate

      By LucasSteuber

      from Portland

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

The pro of this set is that it's immediately identifiable and looks precisely like the building that it represents. The con is that it's relatively repetitive to build, quite small, and a bit limited (wouldn't it be cool if it also included the parliament building - or if that structure was available as a modular addon). I'm glad I have it, it's a neat thing to add to my architecture skyline, but if it was the first one that I purchased I think I'd be a bit disappointed. I'd pick up one of the more technically impressive models first, like the Trevi Fountain, Tower of Pisa, Sydney Opera House, etc., unless you have a special interest in Big Ben.

      Why, Hello Inner Child...

      By TeslaFan

      from Undisclosed

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

After about 30 years of not touching a Lego, Big Ben awoke my inner child. I bought this on a whim while visiting Legoland San Diego with the kids. I really enjoyed piecing this simple model together while learning some light history about Big Ben from the instruction booklet. At 5:30am each morning of our stay, I slowly put Big Ben together in the Legoland cafe, enjoying some coffee and quiet time before all the kids woke up. The instruction booklet and box have a sophisticated look and feel, the assembly easy, and it makes a nice display.

      Big Ben masterclass!

      By Toftsy

      from Bristol

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

This is the second model I have purchased in the Lego Architecture range after being blown away by the White House set, I couldn't wait to get stuck into this one. As usual, the quality speaks for itself, the box and manual are superb as you would expect from Lego. The detail in Big Ben is brilliant, didn't take long to put together and looks great alongside my (to be) growing Architecture range of models. I am a mad fan of Architecture and love the way Lego have produced a fantastic range for me to get my hands on! On to the next one .... Imperial Hotel!

      Not so Big Ben....

      By LegoManDave123

      from Nottingham

Comments about LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013):

Overall I do like this product, but I don't think I would look at buying any other Lego Architecture sets, as the experience isn't really that great. The detail is fantastic considering the mini scale of the set, and this unit looks really Kitch on my bedside table, but that's it.... not really anything else to say, if your looking for something different then this model is for you, but in terms of the 'experience' this model doesn't have that much going for it....
