I wanted a reasonably priced bike for my son's 8th B-day. He will outgrow it pretty quickly, so why spend hundreds of dollars, right? I went to the store and the only one they had left was the display model. This should have been an indication of what I was gonna get. The handle bars were scratched up but I just assumed it was because it was a display model and kids are probably riding it around the store. So I had them order and ship one to me. When I got home from work, I noticed the wheel axel was sticking out the side of the box (not a good sign)! After opening the box, I noticed the handle bars are just laying in the box and they are scratched up also. If I had the time, I would have sent it back and bought elsewhere, but I didn't. His B-day was the next day. I had to take the pedal assembly apart and grease the bearings up as they hardly turned. Same thing on the rear wheel. If you are not mechanically inclined, I would not buy this bike! It needed a lot of work before it would even roll properly.

My 7 year old son outgrew his first bike, so we bought him this one. He says that the bike is awesome. His only complaint is that our driveway is not big enough to ride it. We need to bring him to the park in order for him to have the space he needs to ride. The bike is easy to take off the handlebars to fit in my trunk and then just put it back together in 2 minutes.

So I bought this as a christmas gift for my 6 year-old son who loves bright colors.Perfect is all I have to say. It's not heavy and it's easy for him to put it away after he's done riding .....HAPPY PARENT HERE
