Features

Storytelling Adventures on the High Seas

It's bon voyage for Barbie and her three sisters (dolls sold separately). With this cruise ship, your child can play out the perfect family vacation, whether the ship is on the open water or docked at shore. The side panel of the boat opens to reveal an additional deck below and expands the play space to a full 3.5 feet long. With areas for dining, playing, lounging, and sleeping, this cruise ship lets kids sail away into imagination and play.

Boat Includes Bedroom, Bridge, and Sun Lounge

The brightly colored ship features a top deck with captain's wheel and space for two pink lounge chairs. When the boat docks, fold down the side panel to reveal a pop-up umbrella, a rotating grand buffet, and a flip-out swing. The sisters can sit at the table for a shared meal or relax and watch television on the flat-screen "TV." The top deck opens to reveal a luxury ocean-view suite with two beds.

Pool Area with Slides and Working Fountain

The ship's pool slides out from the base of the boat, flanked by two curving waterslides. To activate the dolphin fountain between the slides, just fill the reservoir in front of the boat--water will shoot directly into the pool. Dolls can take turns going down the slides before soaking up some rays while lying poolside in the two pink lounge chairs.

Decorated with Bright Barbie-Themed Flag

This cruise ship is decorated in bright, seaworthy shades of pink, turquoise, and white. Kids can hang the string of triangular banners between different parts of the ship, and a cheery Barbie-themed flag tops the vessel. When the boat is folded up for storage, a series of portal-shaped decals shows Barbie, her sisters, and two pets looking out at the open seas.

My grand-daughter is 4 years old. She is not a typical 4 year olds. I know this because she is the last in a long string of children in our family. She knows how to read and she can put her thoughts into words in a split second. She is pondering already on the Status of Santa Claus and his endless possibilities. Early in the Season she went to see Santa and asked her for all the goodies she wanted for the "Big Day". After all the lists had been "Submitted" to the Big Guy. Out of the Blue she decided she wanted a "Barbie Cruise Ship". All the Local Venues were out of Stock. I went to the Mattel Webb Site and within 3 days the Cruise Ship was in my possession for a safe delivery. Thank you so Much.

My grand kids were clamoring for the Barbie Cruise as they refer to it after Christmas. When it was the Deal of the Day recently at such a great price, I didn't hesitate to get it. When it arrived the kids put it together quickly, most of it was pre-assembled, and applied most of the decals. They were having a great time with this toy.

First one had to be returned as had 4 things wrong with it to include a Barbie with a crooked leg! 2nd one fine. This is a cute toy and 4 1/2 yr old daughter loves it--loves playing with the pool--water really does come out the dolphins mouth. Stickers as usual are hard to apply in a couple of areas--took an hour. The top latch is difficult to close. Came with nice furniture and accessories
