I know my walls are straight yet the top on one side is snug & loose on the bottom of that side, the opposite bottom is tight but the top is loose, I don't understand how this could be but I tried making it work & it has just been sitting unused I bought a gate from Kidco & am very pleased with their gate!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

As the other review states, I too need a mounting gate that is hinged to swing away. This is a tension gate. Not at all like the pictures. Returning is much more difficult than other companies, and getting my shipping refunded was even more difficult even though the product was misrepresented.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is not the gate pictured on the website. I needed a gate that attatches to the wall, to go at the bottom of a stair case. I wanted this one because at 24 inches, my husband and I would be able to step over it. I received a plastic tension gate that looks nothing like this, and does not fit in the stairway. After 30 minutes on the phone, the BRU rep told me he couldn't help me and I would receive a follow up call. It's been five days and no one has called.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
