    This toy is just perfect for my 6 year old, who has been obsessed for a while now with transforming all kinds of autobots. It is a good size, it's big, but not too big for him to carry with him to places. As far as transforming it goes, all steps were a breeze for my lil expert, except for the arms. It took a little figuring out at first how to fold Optimus's arms when transforming him into truck-mode, but after two tries (of following directions on youtube, because the figure didn't come with instructions) he perfected the technique.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
