I am an adult collector of dolls around this size and fell in love with this doll when I first saw her online. Her hair is much prettier than I expected based on the reviews I've seen, though I know very well that it could easily get tangled and destroyed if you're not careful. I plan to keep Rapunzel as a display doll only so this doesn't bother me much. All in all, she meets my expecations. The doll is gorgeous. I think my only negative comment (aside from the rooted hair) is that the back of her dress is plain.

The hair on this doll, if that is what you want to call it, is just awful. I have no idea what it is made from. It tangles easily, is impossible to keep tidy and therefore NOT for play unless you don't care how frizzed out, tangled, and matted your child's doll looks. I am a doll collector granny and would not have bought this for my granddaughter had I known what the hair is like. As a display doll she is very pretty.

Just taking the doll out of the box tangled her hair so bad I spent close to an hour trying to comb it so I could braid it for my daughter who is 8 and very careful with her things. And clumps of hair came out as I combed. I gave it 2 stars because my DD loves it so much. My advice is, if you must buy it, take it out yourself and braid hair immediately. My first review ever but I was so annoyed!!!

This doll is stunning. Beautiful face and dress. I'm so happy they came out with a new series of Princess and Me dolls. They are a nice size to play with. My daughter just loves her. She sits with her and takes her in the car with us. I will be looking for the other dolls to purchase for Christmas.
