My husband and I did a lot of research for weeks on which kitchen to buy for our 15 month old. We looked at every toy kitchen there is... We originally didn't want to spend over $50 on one but we are so happy we did! It seemed I read a few bad reviews on every kitchen I looked at but not this one...WE LOVE this kitchen! Our son plays with it with his cousins (ages 2-10) They also love it. The only problem we had with this kitchen is that the pieces weren't lettered and it was a little confusing trying to find the pieces that went together but with patience it came together. There wasn't any pre-made holes for the screws but I think thats what keeps it so sturdy. A power drill is a must for putting this together. I don't know how it took people 4 hours to put this together because my husband and I got it put together in 45 minutes. Bottom line is, this is well worth the money and I can see this getting played with years from now! BUY IT!

I read all the reviews and I was a bit concerned about putting it together as I read there were no pre-drilled holes. Let me just say my husband is fabulous with many things but tools and putting things together are not his strong points. With much relief, he was able to put this kitchen together in less than one hour and with no bad words. He had to use a hand screwdriver as the power one was not functioning properly.

She loves the sounds that the stove top makes when the pots are on it. The window was open and shut multiple times as well. A safe busy two year old is a wonderful thing.

This kitchen is great for my 2yo. She and her friends had a fun time playing with it at her party (multiple children could play at the same time)I love all the accessories that come with it, the oven mitt, the dish towel, the serving for two is just enough. This kitchen also has a lot of storage for her food. Overall I have no regrets when buying this for my little one. I found no other kitchen that compares to this one. Oh yea, it was pretty easy to put together if using a drill. My husband put it together in about 30 min. Another review says there were not holes in the product, my husband believes it was meant to be that way and he had no problem putting the holes in. He believes it makes the product more durable

I shopped for kitchen sets for weeks until I found this one for my 21month old. I am glad I picked this one because my daughter LOVES it! She loves how the stove bubbles and sizzles and gets a kick out of the dog food bowl and water bowl and "feeds" her stuffed puppy. The refrigerator is a good size and there is plenty of storage compartments. She loves all the bins. The set comes with alot of accessories, my daughter loves the coffee pot and cups and likes the spinning spice rack. The microwave and phone makes noise, she likes pushing the buttons. She laughs and giggles while "washing" her hands in the sink.

POWER DRILL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THIS SET! There are no predrilled holes. I used a drill and it made the assembly easy. I had read on a previous comment before I bought it that it had no predilled holes, so I was ready!

I had a couple problems with this set otherwise I would have given it five stars. When I got the set home and all the pieces out of the box, I realized the plastic window in the cabinet door was broken, a huge hole in the middle. I called toys r us and the employee went into another box and put aside the part for me to pick up. After I had put together the entire kitchen set, i realized the microwave door was missing! It is supposed to come attached to the part. Toys r us tried to help me again but they couldnt get the door off the set they had there. I called step 2 and they sent the microwave door right away, i had it a few days later.

Overall, my daughter just loves this set and she is so happy when playing with it. It comes with alot of accessories but no play food so I went out and bought a bucket of play food.

My daughters are 8 and 11. They've been wanting a play kitchen for years and grandma delivered for Christmas. My friend and I put it together, and my girls played with it for hours. They even put the "soup on" before bed and "checked on it" in the morning. They love the spot for "Rosy" the dog and storage is awesome.

Once put together, this kitchen has many attractions for my 20 month old (sounds, dog bed, lots of doors and compartments), but Step2 has skipped a step in construction. The instruction manual shows one putting it together with a manual screwdriver, but there are no pre-drilled holes in the plastic. Instead you have to pre-drill thirty-some holes yourself estimating their location and then attempt to have the screws stay put as they should. It takes forever and causes the kitchen to be less secure. For the money, Step2 should pre-drill the holes and/or change their instruction manual (I looked at it online before purchasing the kitchen). We returned the first kitchen thinking it was a defect, but the two others in the store were also missing the pre-drilled holes.

Instead you have to use an electric drill to pre-drill the holes yourself (estimating their location) and then put the screws through the plastic. This takes a long time and causes a less secure kitchen. For the money, Step2 should pre-drill the holes and/or change the instruction manual (I looked at it online before purchasing). We returned the first kitchen we bought thinking it was a defect, but the two others in the store were also missing the holes.

This kitchen is great. We bought it after returning a bad wooden kitchen. We are so glad the wooden kitchen did not work out. This one is so nice. I have a 4 and 5 year old and I like it because it is bigger then most of the other kitchens and it has a lot on it. The kids love it. We are very happy with this and also Toys R Us customer service in Vernon Hills and over the phone were exceptional when taking a bad kitchn back and getting the new one. It was a hassle free experience.
