Need 2 crossovers for crashes

This was purchased, along with one of the base tracks, as a gift for my 8 year old son. He loves how fast the cars go around the track.

I'm a little disappointed in the crossover track. While the cars navigate it without problem, if you purchase this with the idea that the crossover will cause cars to crash into one another (the picture on the box shows cars crashing into one another at the crossover), you'll be disappointed. Since each car has many different speeds (depending on the card you swipe), unless the cars are going the same speed, what ends up happening instead is the faster car catches up to the slower one and just pushes it along the track, so you never end up with collisions.

(I suppose it's possible to get both cars going at the same speed if you have either two of the same car and swipe the same speed card, or two different cars and the same speed card for each. Note that you get packs of "speed cards" and "power cards". All cards are keyed to work with only one car, and each card has a different speed (1-12) or power rating (1-6).)
