These dolls are very fragile. Their arms come off easily. They pop back on easily, too, but I wish they could be more durable. After all, they are in the hands of kids. This particular light up girl has a back pack that pops off. I don't know if it was meant to pop off, but my kids popped it off, and I've not yet been able to pop it back on.

Way over-priced for the cheapest doll ever made! Literally fell apart the second it left the box - taking it back for a refund... shame, my daughter was so excited =(

These dolls are very cute. What some people don't understand about these dolls are that they are designed for their arms and head to be removed easily. The reason for this is to make it easier to dress them. I understand the frustration with the arms falling off so easily when played with. They are more of a collectors item but my 8 year old loves hers and plays with it a lot. If the arms are an issue you could always use a dot of super glue to solve the problem. The cuteness of these dolls certainly outweigh the arms issue. Which is quite a simple fix.

I read some reviews about arms falling off. Monster high is the same way, just put a little super glue on the post and that will solve your problem.

I bought my daughter all 4 of these dolls that are being considered the Top Toy for 2012 and I gave her 2 for her birthday and was keeping 2 back for Christmas. The 2 she recieved for her birthday fell apart before we could even get them out of the package. Once the arms fell off they refused to stay on. The head kept popping off. These dolls are of poor quality for what they cost. Save your money and purchase something with a better quality standpoint. THESE DOLLS ARE PURE JUNK!!!!

The doll breaks super easy.. Literally not even 5 minutes after taking it out of the box both arms fell off. It was sad because the dolls are soo cute!! But in the end left you with wasted money and an amrless doll...

This is a very pretty doll and if you're a collector, it's probably really worth the money. The problem with it is that it's marketed for little girls (just watch the commercial). My daughters are 5 and 7, ever since they saw the commercial, they wanted the dolls. I surprised them today and bought each one a different Novi Star doll. Alie Lectric is very cute and just like all the other Novi Stars, her arms are removable to I suppose make outfit changes easier. Well, there's a couple of big problems with those arms - they aren't just removable, but they don't even want to stay in! My daughter and I had to replace them countles times just in the one hour of play! I don't understand how they make outfit changes easier either - it's not easy to replace those arms once the outfit is on the doll. It's definitely not worth the money.

I just bought this doll for my little girl, and let me tell you—she cannot get enough of it! And, honestly, neither can I! We both think she's so cute. The attention to detail really makes the doll stand out. My daughter loves her pink hair and adorable dress. I love that she's well made (a real quality product!) and that the 'outer space' theme is so creative...I've seen a lot of dolls, but I've never seen any like this one! The Alie Lectric doll is an overall great product and I highly suggest it for any and all doll lovers.
