        I got this originally for the smoothies I make for my 3 year old but realize right away that the the thick smoothie would not do so well with this cup so we use it for water, which is great. No spills and we can take it everywhere.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I searched high and low to find a straw cup that doesn't leak ... this one doesn't! I got this when my daughter was 14mo old, she can hold it with one hand because of the rubber side grips and when she tosses it on the floor or it's on its side it doesn't leak at all.

          It was difficult for her to get the liquid out at first but she got used to it and has no problems now. I just bought another in blue.

          I only wish this line was carried in-store.
