We added this loop track to the Time Race Track and the cars don't make it through the loop. We use it as a seperate track and it works fine.

When I was a kid, toy cars were steel and lasted forever. Now they're plastic bits the size of a dime and last 5 minutes. The problem with "Microchargers" is that they have ZERO tolerance for the real world. Ours was disabled by a SINGLE hair wrapped around an axel.

My son received this toy as a gift for his birthday, my husband assembled the track and the two of them had a ball with it. Once they were done, he disassembled it and we put it back in the box so my son would be able to find all the pieces which would assure us that he would indeed play with it again. The problem came about when we took it out of the box to assemble and play with it for the second time. The batteries had completely died and replacing the batteries, the thing would not even cut on. To my husband's surprise (not really) we had once again had in our possession another toy that was short lived and not worth the trouble. We will not repurchase this toy and we can be quite clear, if we receive it again, it will be returned. So sick and tired of toy companies, short changing consumers for a vast return financially.

This is so fun. My 4 year old son loves it. I had so much fun playing with him that I went out and got a second set so we could race them. Can't wait for Santa to bring him more race sets. These little cars really do go fast and charge up in 8 seconds. I got one for an 8 year old birthday boy. It was his favorite gift from his party.
