Bought this for my 6 year old son. He absolutely loves it. We bought it for Pac Man, but he loves the other games too. Read a lot of the reviews and one thing that stuck out had to do with the joystick. It is, indeed, not perfect. Relative to the investment, not a big deal for us.

I was not pleased with this product. Although the graphics were great the function was not realistic. Meaning: it is hard to manuever the joy stick back and forth without feeling like you are going to fracture your wrist. Please consider carrying Jakks Pacific Plug-N-Play products which is what i am using as my alternative. Good idea it just wasnt pulled off.

I got this game for my grandma for Christmas because she was the queen of pacman on the original atari when I was a kid. When we tried playing this one, the joystick was not very responsive and this made it impossible to play the game. Not cool!

I was so glad the plug and play version was out again. I've enjoyed this game for years. Pac Man plays well, you hold the unit just as pictured in the box, but forget the other games--you'll have to reach under your right wrist to press buttons and its a chore.

Redesign of this game Terrible

My father loves this game. He wears one out every 6 months. This is a make over of the game that for years was produced and licensed to Jakks/Namco (and carried by Toys R Us), but now taken back by Bandai--the creator.

My father spent hours trying to operate this game and it seems the redesign is flawed. The game is to be held as pictured above (I saw buyers playing the game at "toy convention" online). If you do this you cannont manipulate the buttons that would be under your right wrist. If you hold the game differently--up is down, down is up, right is left and so on. Only one way to hold it. What's wrong???
