Comments about Guidecraft Doll Bunk Bed:

Got this for my twin 3 year old girls last Christmas for their babies. It was very easy to put together and is an extremely cute, well-built piece of furniture for their babies. It was very expensive but seemed good quality. It would be 5 stars as the girls love it. However, it had a VERY STRONG SMELL out of the box that has only just gone away a year later. I kept it outside for the first two weeks in the hopes that the chemicals would dissipate. the girls were so disappointed as they wanted the bunk beds to be in their room with the babies, but even months later, if I put it in their room for a night, their whole room would smell. I can't imagine whatever chemicals are used to make this product are good for my children to breath. So, a year later, I did just move this into their room as I don't smell it any more. I'm still concerned about what it's made with, but hope that if we can't smell it, it's no longer something they'll breath in.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
