Bought this myself off crags list and love it, but it's loud when it moves but other then that its really cool, has a aux cable so you can play your own music. I love it

We call it the "pod". We were able to use it srarting when our little one was about 3 weeks old. She loves hte motion and I love being able to hook up my MP3/Ipod. It takes up so much less space than a swing. I can turn it on and off with my toe, which is great when your hands are filled with baby. All in all, I splurged on it and don't regret it.

Bought the mamaRoo for my preemie son after seeing it for the first time in the NICU. All of the nurses recommended the mamaRoo and I figured they would know best since they work with so many babies and use it daily. Perfect for newborns because it reclines and speeds are adjustable. I love that it plugs into the wall and does not require batteries. I have not used my traditional swing since buying this product.

My baby does not like this seat :( I think he's too small still, he's 7 weeks. It doesn't recline far enough so his little head droops forward. Also, it's sort of noisy. He might like it better when he gets older. The bummer is, I was hoping this would replace a swing and it really hasn't. I recommend getting your swing and get this months later if you still want it.

I bought this infant seat because of the look, the amount of space that it doesn't take up and all of the different directions that it goes.

I love that this product has 6 different types of "swing" motions. But I would say that I mainly bought this item because it doesn't take up much space.

The only negative that I can think of is the sounds. I like the different sounds that you have to choose from but the speakers are below the baby so you have to turn it up for them to hear it. Also, the little mobile doesn't move unless you touch it. Great for when they are little but kind of pointless when they get to be about 2-3 months.

Our 4-month-old has never liked any swing, bouncy seat, or even being put down. The mamaroo allows me to get a few things done, and sometimes she falls asleep in it. She loves to "talk" to the overhead mobile. We also get so many comments on how cool it looks. Worth every penny!

I am so glad we decided to purchase the MamaRoo! I was a little hesitant at first because of the cost, but my baby loves it. He is almost 10 weeks now, and we've been using the MamaRoo since we brought him home for the hospital.
It's great to set him in if I need my hands free to cook, etc., and it will sometimes get him to fall asleep when I can't. He is starting to enjoy looking at the little attached mobile too, and he smiles and coos at it. I love that I can connect a smart phone/MP3 player and play music to him, too, and the built-in sounds aren't obnoxious like a lot of the sounds other baby toys make.
The only possible drawback I can see to the MamaRoo (besides being a little costlier than other baby swings/bouncers) is that I'm not sure how long my baby will fit in it, but, until he outgrows it, we will keep using it every day at our house.

the only thing that would get her to sleep at 1 month old it was a life saver. and at 5 months she still loves it. its totally adjustable from laying down to almost upright
