The Vtech Alphabet Activity Cube - Pink is an interactive learning cube that has five sides of fun to discover! Little builders will love the 13 building blocks that also teach the alphabet. The blocks can be stacked on the top of the cube or they can be inserted into the slot on the electronic side to learn more about each letter. The electronic side also features five piano keys, a number keypad and a telephone. Other sides of this electronic learning toy feature fun mechanical elements such as a peg maze, put-and-take holes that lead to a storage area, sliders, gears, a mirror and more! Learning has never been so much fun!

We bought this Vtech cube for our 7 month old daughter. Most other toys she got bored easily with. But this cube she plays with for hours.
The alphabet cubes that say the letter when you place the cube on the slot is a big plus, teach sight and sound of letters, they can also be used as stacking blocks. the musical song and play and story features on it add the fun. It has so much activities built into one for learning play and fun. This toy could replace dozens of individual learning toys.

In theory this would be an awesome toy, the design is very cute and the learning aspect is great....however it annouces the wrong letter 30% of the time. After writing to VTech, they did indeed tell me this was a defect. I returned this toy as it really is not a learning toy with this defect. My 3.5 yr old kept correcting the toy. Hooray for his preschool! :) Hoping to buy this in another 6 months to see if they were able to fix the issue.

I bought this play cube for my daughters 1st birthday. I did think at the time that she would probably be a little too young for it but that she would grow into playing more with it. I was wrong! My husband thought that I was crazy for wanting to buy it with her being so young (I keep telling him that the woman is always right but he just won't believe that)!!! She loved it right off the bat and couldn't keep her hands off of it. She loves to put the blocks into the face holes and play with all the other various nick nacks on each side. She hasn't gotten the hang of what the phone does and how it works yet but I bet she will love it when she figures that out too!

My husband and I both thought this toy looked engaging and would be a great learning tool but my daughter who is 1 hardly plays with it at all. I'm going to hang on to it and hopefully as she gets older she will start paying more attention to it. However I have a 3 year old and he always tries out his little sisters toys as well and he's never cared for this product either. I've sat down with her to show her the different things she can do with it but she's easily bored and goes towards other toys. Save your money.

I bought this toy because it looked like there were so many great activities in one. When we actually took it out to play with it, my baby was quickly bored with it as there are actually very little activity options. Not much more than a few buttons. Also, one side has the pegs which are made to drop things down so they can bounce down like Plinko, but the toy doesn't come with anything that will actually to that, and we haven't found any balls that will. One side is nothing but storage. Very boring toy, not worth the money.
