I bought the listening system in my 3rd trimester and thought the product worked great! You do have to be in a very quiet room and for me it worked best when worn low on the underbelly. I could hear the heartbeat and movement. Sometimes it did take moving the sensor to a few areas on my belly or repositioning myself before I was able to hear the heartbeat, but with a little patience you should have no issues.

I love this product! I am not sure why so many people have complained about it. Make sure to read the directions, it works best in the last trimester since the baby is bigger. I did find it worked for me as early as 20 weeks. I could hear my baby's heart beat and then when I could feel his movements you could hear them. I think it will probably depend how your baby is also positioned to be able to hear movements and their heart beat.It also would give me a little piece of mind if I felt he wasnt moving as much I could listen to hear his heart beat and the suddle movements he did make that I just didn't feel.I thought this product was great and would recommend to others.

Thing does not work, we had another heart monitor that allowed us to hear our babies heartbeat easily.

This thing is a piece of junk. Don't waste your money.

This product does not work at all. My husband can hear the heartbeat by just putting his ear to my belly. When you use this device, you can't hear anything! I can feel the baby moving around and it amazed me that this monitor picked up nothing. I would not recommend this product. Don't waste your money.

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have not yet been able to detect my baby's heartbeat with this monitor, nor was my sister in law at any point during her pregnancy. Your money would be better spent buying the AngelSounds Fetal Monitor. It's slightly more expensive, but I was able to find the heart beat at 11 weeks.

This was a gift from family when we found out we were pregnant. I knew I had to be patient with it since it was a 3rd trimester listening device so I didn't expect to hear much before then and I didn't though it was fun to try. My baby really started to move around in the 6th month and only once were we able to hear the kicks on the monitor. But we still waited on the 3rd trimester to judge the product.

When I hit 28 weeks, I'd take it out and experiment with position and read the directions over and over again, but now at 34 weeks - still nothing. :( I follow the directions exactly and use the strap but it has unfortunately been a useless gift. Even now as I'm writing, it's strapped around my waist (has been for 20 minutes), and I hear nothing even though baby is moving around consistently.

Even if we do get it to work before baby is born, it doesn't seem worth it when I only have 6 weeks left and can hear the baby's heart rate at my weekly appointments.

I would NOT recommend purchasing this item.

This product completely misrepresents its capabilities. It does say clearly on the package that it is intended for use during the third trimester only. However, even in the third trimester, you cannot hear anything. There is a lot of artifact noise, and even the slightest movement of the sensor causes a disruption in sound. This is definitely NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!
